Lime Street Cafe — Restaurant in Springfield

It was my first time here. I was pretty excited because I love little family owned restaurants. My car died so I was looking for some play close to go. So I walk it...It's a little dark. I was able to pick my seat. Nice table settings. The menu prices were not like family owned. They were high. The server brought a customary glass of water and walked away. And never came back. Twenty minutes after seeing her socializing, I decide to walk out. I went to let someone know I was unhappy and leaving. That was when the waitress finally approached me as I was standing by the door. She thought I was going to the bathroom so she came to tell me where it was. Since no other employee was visible, I told her I was leaving because I sat at the table for 20 minutes and she didn't come back. She said "Oh. Okay, have a nice day.". I will...

We went here for the first time last night. It is nicely decorated and we were seated quickly. It is decorated tastefully, but the chairs are very uncomfortable. The waitress was very attentive, but the food took an insane amount of time to come out. Customers who were seated received their food long before we did. The waitress offered no explaination. She kept assuring us it would be out soon. One dish had to be sent out because it was overcooked.. The Rueben sandwich uses lunchmeat instead of actual corned beef. The rest of the food was very good, but a bit overpriced. The waitress stopped filling drinks after she left the bill and did not offer dessert. We would go here again if invited by others, but probably would not choose...

We had reservations at 7pm last night (2/13). We got seated promptly and then we waited for 20 minutes before our waitress greeted us. They weren't as full as normal, with the COVID-19 restrictions. We then waited another 15-20 minutes to get our drinks and order. After our order was taken, we waited until 8:45 before we finally stopping our waitress and asked about our food and eventually asked for it to be boxed up so we could leave. Everyone around us had come in after us and had been served. Lime Street was never known for fast service, but this was ridiculous. We'll not go back anytime soon. I've been going there for...
