What a disaster this store was today. I can not believe the difference since the last time I was there. I was looking for some pants for our grandson, and the mens department was in shambles. There were clothes everywhere . I could not find one single pair of slim khaki slacks. The poor lady working hard in the dept had to be overwhelmed! There was no way she could clean the mess alone. I then went to the shoe department which was equally as messy. There were a few workers there, but I don't see how they could clean it up even with three people. What is going on in this store is happening all across America . People do not want to work and yet want to eat, so I don't get it. We have been enabling people to be lazy, and it has caught up with us. Stores and restaurants are closing every day as they have no help. Read moreSecond visit in about two weeks. Both visits left me wondering what happened to customer service in Springfield. First time I was scolded by the cashier for removing hangers from clothing I was purchasing, indicating she needed to do it as her 'process' with no thank you and today I purchased three pair of shoes-two pair of men's shoes were placed in a bag large enough for a couple of clothing items together making it impossible for me to carry unless I hugged them like a child. Asking for a larger bag was an inconvenience which happened only after the cashier stopped to handle a person who had walked in and the cashier offered to help her with an internet purchase exchange-before my transaction was complete. I said thank you & was told 'no problem' with not a single thank you not to mention a greeting when we started. Kohl's can and has done much better than this-this is Walmart quality...
