Our odyssey of misinformation and frustration began with an employee named Miles. My husband and I asked him over the phone about several promotions which he confidently assured us would be able to happen. Being a few days before Christmas we needed to make good use our time. We arrived at the store and was helped by a woman named Leanne. Leanne told us all the things we wanted to hear, and then told us we needed complete a few tasks before switching over our phone lines in able to receive aforementioned promotions. One included paying off a $350 cell phone bill, at which point she said they would be able to credit us this amount for switching over to T-Mobile. She also said that we needed to get one of our iPhones fixed first and then we could trade it in for a brand new iPhone for free. Long story short...all this info was totally bogus. We ran around all day completing these tasks. When we returned, the so-called manager informed us that for whatever reason, this was not a possibility. We also wanted to activate three lines and were told the third one would be free. We were told this would be around $80 including taxes. "Not so!" said the manager... "It's actually $120." We were so disappointed as this was to be our son's main Christmas present. At this point we were so frustrated after getting the run-around from several different employees, we decided to bag it. The "manager" was not an apologetic and offered nothing to make us ever want to become T-Mobile customers. Also, we are out $350 and an entire day wasted on...
Read moreI would suggest skipping this store entirely, take the extra 10 minutes and go to the Spanish Fork store. We moved carriers about four years ago, we went into the Springville store and they were absolutely wonderful getting us moved over. Two years later we were in looking at potentially upgrading our phones, one of their some employees told us that if we changed our plan to the Go5G Next plan we would only be paying an extra $20 a month compared to our previous plan. We brought all six of our family in, got our new phones and everything changed over. The entire time we were told that it’s only $20 more a month, and we can trade in our phones every year. We went back two months after because our bill had doubled from what we were originally told. Talking with the manager he told us that the employee that had helped us was quitting and had lied to several other people in the store and messed up their plans. We were unable to go back to our previous plan as it was no longer offered. We tried to go to the store today to do our yearly trade in, but this store had its doors locked at 1:30pm. We ended up going to the Spanish Fork store, which is an actual corporate store instead of a third party retailer. The Spanish Fork store was wonderful in helping us figure out what happened when our plan was changed and how badly the Springville store messed it up.
TLDR: Skip Springville go to Spanish...
Read moreI have been to this store before. It is locally owned and I like to support local businesses. When I was there Daniel was super friendly and helpful. I went to the store Saturday December 21st at about 4:45. I went in and all the employees were busy but they acknowledged me and told me they would be with me as soon as they could. About 5 minutes after I arrived a woman came in and she spoke to the employee in Spanish and she took a seat at a table in the back of the store. A few minutes later her husband and kids joined her. We'll one of the employees finished with there customer so it was reasonable to think it was my turn. I would have thought they would take care of customers in order they arrive. Nope. The person in charge directed the employee to this woman when it should have been my turn. It was like I didn't exist. I felt like I was not important to them. I walked out and went to Spanish Fork and was taken care and I felt like I was important to them. So they got a fairly decent sake from me. If Daniel was there I eojld have waited for him to take care of me but these other employees were not very helpful. I may or may not be back. Do they deserve a second chance. We will see. It might depend on how this complaint is handled. If I don't here from someone I will...
