Wow. Just wow. So I had a coupon to try a smoothie, it was kind of busy so I figured it would be a minute. So I took a seat and waited for my friend. We both ordered, I got a Sunshine and she ordered the Avocado one. They took our names and said they'd bring it to us in a few minutes. Lets remember, a "few minutes". Again, I sat down and holy hell we waited for like 20 mins. You'd think they were waiting for the fruit to grow or something back there. But there was only a couple people working and they all looked really stressed so we waited some more. Minute 25... bout to go rip the cashier a new one and this girl storms in, goes straight to the back. I walk up to the register and let them know. We've been here going on a half hour and my friend needs to go back to work now. Smoothie-less. That girl that came in earlier overhears the conversation and takes over, she apologizes, says she's the manager and it's been a crazy day. She had a family emergency and she's so sorry. Offers to refund my money and gives me a cookie and says to take some chips, anything we wanted. We said all we wanted was our smoothies. She says absolutely and makes them in less than a minute. Which is great but why couldn't we have gotten these 25 mins before? I don't understand how this place still has business. But we definitely won't be back, especially since as we were getting in our cars she was outside next to the doors vaping and on her phone. Like....clearly I get why they have such long waits. Management is horrible and super just not there....
Read moreMy wife and I had our first date here. We even commemorated it with matching tattoos of smoothies. Not cafe branded of course but it's a fun reminder. We go all the time, this most recent time I tried to pay with $100 bill and was told that they don't accept bills that large. There is no sign stating this, so i asked how much i needed to spend so she could take it (willing to spend more money at their establishment), she said that she still couldnt take it. I then asked the employee if I ordered $100 worth of smoothies would she be able to take it then? She shrugged and said that she just worked there... I went to the Smiths nearby and got carried away and spent more than I should but still had enough to get the wife and I a couple mini smoothies. When I went back and placed my order I was told that they could not do mini smoothies in the flavor I ordered. This was strange since we have gotten it in the mini multiple times. I ended up getting the wife a regular size and left. They were unresponsive to my attempts to resolve the issue by spending more money with them and offered me no solutions, then they turn down a secondary request. They wasted my time and left me frustrated. I'll be looking for other smoothie options in the future, if I'm willing to spend more money I'm damn well willing to drive a little further to another...
Read moreI recently started going here frequently and ordering thru the app. That's all great and when they make my smoothie correctly, I love it. The problem is with consistency. There seems to be a lot of variation between workers for what you'll get. I like adding ginger to mine and it's the primary reason I get the urge to get another. But about 25% of the time, it gets left out but I was still charged for it. The drink I get has an energy supplement but often there's still pea sized chunks of it which are quite nasty when not blended in and sometimes it seems left out entirely. I'll get the desire for one, drive over but with how hit-and-miss their attention to detail is, I'm often disappointed. Right now I am trying to finish one where they forgot the ginger again and the energy supplement is still in chunks and the fruit content is so low I feel like it's almost just blended ice with barely a hint of any flavor- the worst one I've had yet. I'm not going to drive back to have them fix it because I hate being that guy and honestly since it's the same workers, it's clear they don't know how to make it correctly so it would be a waste of time and energy.
