Racially profiles black women with big purses. I was visiting family from out of town and stopped by to get champagne for housewarming gift. As I walked in, clerk asked me to leave my purse up front. I was in shock so I asked her to repeat again, she stated that we have a sign on the front door, no big purses.(my purse was the avg size Michael Kors purse). I paused to assess the situation, looked at the white middle aged lady at the checkout with a purse the exactly the same size as mine ( her silence was everything), stared at my purse, looked back at the white young clerk, and clearly saw what was going on. I cringed with disgust. The clerk proceeds to say that I could place my purse back in the car. I so kindly replied, “I have never heard of anything like this. I can do better, I will take my business elsewhere.” This made me sad to see that my hometown in 2023 patronizes a place that is not inclusive and racially profiles because they think it is their right. But what’s even more sad is , the silence of the white lady at checkout who clearly saw the discrimination did not speak up and call it out. To say nothing is to condone. How can we ever change for the better if we continue to support a business like this. People, do the world a favor, and DO NOT SHOP HERE. Do not accept this...

Wife and i went in to pick up some items. Picked up a six-pack of Yuengling - shelf price said 5.89. There was a female clerk with pink hair who rang up our items who I asked how much the beer was before she rang it up but she ignored me. After it was rung up I asked her again what it rang up at and she said 9.69. I told her it that's not the price on the shelf- the shelf price said 5.89 on the shelf, however she basically ignored me and continued with the sale and said someone must have forgot to change the price. I paid $3.80 more than the shelf price because of their error. The clerk acted as if it was my problem that they did not keep with their pricing. Her explanation was somebody didnt change the price. There was no offer to refund the difference and actually told us she DID NOT KNOW HOW TO CHANGE THE PRICE. I was very disappointed with the stores service and their attitude towards me as a customer. I will not be returning to this store and i would NOT RECOMMEND PATRONIZING THIS STORE. In addition I would recommend if you do decide to visit the store be sure to take a picture of the shelf Price Before you place the item on the counter and show the clerk to verify how much the item is. In my opinion this shows me that management has a poor disregard for the customer and/or they just dont care about...

I walked in and started walking towards the wines, when the guy behind the counter started calling for me to come to the counter. I turned around thinking that he was going to direct me to what I wanted, however, he wanted my pocketbook! He wanted me to hand him my new Patricia Nash pocketbook! He told me that I couldn't walk through the store with it!! I understand that they may have a little shop lifting going on, but to ask for a little old lady's pocketbook? I was insulted and took my business to Buzzway Liquor a little down the road, and you know what...they didn't ask me for my pocketbook!! Buzzway was more than happy to take my order!
