Statesboro City Dog Park — Attraction in Statesboro

I take my dog here all the time. Unlike many other dog parks this dog park actually allows toys, however you should always be careful when bringing toys as dogs can be resource aggressive. There are people that also bring treats however I would highly recommend that you do not do this as it has started multiple fights. I wouldn’t not bring my dog here. I have a Lab and she is a puppy. There is a little huskie there as well and it is really aggressive towards my dog. The owner does not watch what her dog does and it has bit my dog in the head. I reported it to the people who run the park and they didn’t care nor did they tell the huskie to not come back. If you bring your dog here be carful people don’t watch their dogs, and the people who run the park doesn’t care about the activity going on...

Great dog park. Large in size, has fun tunnels for the dogs. Good seating for owners. Friendly crowd. Only complaint is that the large dog section is full of dog poo. Owners are not good at picking up after their dogs. May have to do with shortage of available doggie poo bags available in the park. Still give it a great rating as my dogs really enjoy it.
