Bargain Books — Local services in Staunton

I absolutely love this place! I have never been to a used books store quite as large or so well organized. My mind was blown. Usually books are haphazardly shelved in no order but here everything was in alphabetical order by author so I could find some really great books. I only scoured the fiction section and plays section, which didn't even encompass the whole store. I left with 15 books and a huge feeling of regret because I could have easily bought 15 more. I have family in Staunton, so I visit several times a year, but I had yet to visit Know Knew Books until now (December 2021). I am a bibliophile and a lover of literature, so this place was a treat for me! Incredible selection of modern fiction and classics, as well as literary criticism and scholarly works. You will find both the obscure and the common, and all for really reasonable prices (lots of stuff in the 2-4 dollar range). Staff is really friendly, too. THIS PLACE IS A NOSTALGIC PERSONS DREAM. ♥️♥️♥️ All time favorite book store for older media. VERY organized. They have not only books, but old magazines, VHS tapes, cassette tapes, DVDs, old computer games, and comics!!!! I come here at least once a month, sometimes 2-3. I can spend hours looking around because there’s SO much to look at. BTW, the prices are like thrift store prices. Very reasonable. They even have an adorable store dog. (Waiting for them to get a cat). If I had family in town, this store is on the list of places...
