KFC — Restaurant in Staunton

1 Star is generous. I am not usually the type to comment on dining experiences, whether they be good or bad. However, this experience was so exceptionally bad, I figured I'd give fair warning to future diners. I decided to visit the Staunton KFC location after a shopping trip. I was close to going through the drive-thru ( I wish I would have) but after a long day in Staunton, I decided to treat myself. As I walked in, I had a sense that I'd made the wrong decision. The girl taking orders was extremely rude(big deal, par for the course). After placing my order, I tried to find a spot in the restaurant to sit down at that wasn't totally filthy. I found a spot in the corner that was relatively sanitary. The same rude girl who took my order shoved my order at me on a tray as if I were serving a term at Fort Leavenworth, I graciously took my food and retreated to the decrepit corner of the restaurant. The food was gross. I have been going to KFC for years, and it has never been this bad. As I was eating, the trash-can right in front of my table was being changed, no consideration. I managed to finish around half of the meal. As I left, the same rude girl who took my order was sitting on the curb smoking a cigarette; an apt end to an abysmal experience. If you are passing through Staunton, do not go to the KFC there. The locals...

Can I do negative stars? Went to the drive through asked for a 12 peice bucket. 6 thighs and 6 legs. The employee flat out said can't do that woth an attitude. So we said oh ok the app just said we could, he then cuts us off and says they don't have the proper chicken to do it that way so we say ok just go ahead and do the 12 peice how it is and we told the other pwrson on the intercom that the other employee could've been a little more polite. The manager (whoch we didnt know she was the manager til we called) proceeds to argue saying the employee wasn't being rude and we were like yeah he was and said nevermind and left. I then called the kfc to see if I could speak to the manager because employees were being rude she proceeded to say she was the manager and once again argued about how she and the employee weren't being rude so I hung up and reported them to kfc corporate. How are you gonna have a rude employee and then a manager interject, argue with us being rude, and then laugh as we pull away. We will not ever go back to a kfc again. Absolutely ridiculous and disappointing as we've been sick all week and we're hoping for an easy meal...

I would give zero stars if I could. This location has serious problems. There’s ALWAYS an issue. I try to go to the one in Waynesboro when possible. The difference is night and day. I decided to try the Staunton location again today for convenience. Horrible as always. At least they are consistent. I had to wait for extra crispy. This is normal. They NEVER have it. I placed my order and got to the window. As I handed her my card, I said I wanted crispy not original. She yells to the other people, “she don’t want that. She want crispy” after rolling her eyes at me. I said that she didn’t ask which kind I wanted. The reply was “you get original unless you say otherwise.” Umm, no. You ASK what type. After waiting 30 min, they brought everything to my car. I looked in the bag and the lid for the gravy was not even secured. Gravy was leaking everywhere. I went in, showed them, got another eye roll, then was rudely given a replacement. I get home to realize I only had 8 pieces when I had ordered 12.
