I searched for several months and ran into several red flags at various other upholstery shops, but not at Bob’s! Key considerations for me were photos of past work, cleanliness of workspace, timeliness/quality of response and communications, price, and timeline for project completion. Bobs stood out in each of these areas. I do not live in Staunton, so working through the details of the project over email and text went great and appreciated. I had dining room chairs recovered and had the foam replaced and then had pillows made with extra material. The quality of the work is exceptional, the workspace is pristine, the people are wonderful to work with, and the price was more than fair for the quality. They were neither the least or the most expensive, but when considering the quality and the timeliness of the project (done in a couple of weeks versus months quoted at other places), the value was amplified! I have a leather sofa and the seat cushions were worn out from years of my dogs jumping on them. The back cushions were perfect having been covered with a quilt. I wanted to keep the sofa and approached Josh as to whether it was possible to find matching leather. Miraculously he did as they have extensive contacts with suppliers. The match is almost exact, the workmanship of Josh and his mom exquisite, it was done in a very timely fashion, and the cost for a superior product was quite reasonable. I decided to have my furniture reupholstered. I certainly made the right decision by choosing Bob's Upholstery!!! I am beyond ecstatic upon receiving my newly upholstered love seat and sofa. GORGEOUS and such craftsmanship. Nothing that is in any high end furniture store compares to the fine quality living room suit ,I now have after everyone worked their magic. I am now in possession of custom, quality pieces that will last for the rest of my days. I can't stop staring at them.
