So this is the first time to get piercings here. I got my nose and snake bites redone. First impressions?? A very relaxing place, clean, organized and laid back. Very professional but friendly as well. I am a diabetic, so let me tell you; when I say this place is sterile, I mean it! I watched the whole time he prepped and unpackaged implements. I didn't mention the diabetes because I wanted to know how they treat any normal walk-in. I even came in during lunch hour! Which, by the way, please don't do that! I did it to see how professional they would be if interrupted; this gives a more accurate review. Chris was the one doing my piercings. He was super nice, didn't show any signs of being inconvenienced or anything of the kind. He took the time to mark my right side lip piercing further down than the last shop had done it so that the snake bites were even! He made sure I was happy with the placement before piercing and after they were done, he explained aftercare. Chris was super kind even with my awkward social issues. He didn't make me nervous and I am a happy customer! I went in 3-2-22 and my piercings are healing amazing!!! The picture that is the closest to my face was getting into the car after getting them done. The second is that evening. The 3rd pic is 5 days later and the last 3 pics are from this evening at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI really debated leaving a review because I donāt like to leave negative reviews, but my experience here was just not great. I went in for a septum piercing about two weeks ago and I should have walked away when the piercer didnāt clean my nose before applying the clamps. Thatās on me for not speaking up and advocating for myself. Once the piercing was done I wasnāt offered a mirror or anything to even see the piercing, which was red flag number two. I was not surprised to see that the piercing was uneven and way too low, but decided I would give it a while to heal and see what happened. Also, unsurprisingly it was infected the next day. Iāve had multiple piercings and never an infection. I canāt help but speculate that this would not have occurred if the area would have been cleansed before hand as I followed all post piercing cleaning correctly. I had an appointment with an APP certified piercer last night and before he even looked at what I wanted done he asked, āyou know your septum is way wrong, right?ā. I was advised to remove the piercing (which I have now done) and have it re-pierced correctly. So basically I wasted $60 on a bad experience and an avoidable infection. This shop might be fantastic for other piercings as the other reviews state (and is why I went here) but not for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe original expierience went well. I went to change my jewelry to find out they pierced it too small (should be 14g, pierced with 16g). I went in to get help changing my jewelry. When I explained to AJ what happened he immediately told me that I ordered the wrong size because his piercer decided to pierce me smaller with out telling me. The problem is the jewelry for this piercing is only sold as 14g. Aj then argued with me as to what the proper size was and told me to never return. All I wanted as an "I'm sorry" and help shoving the too large jewelry through. Instead I was belittled and told to never return. Dont worry AJ, you and your shop lost my service and any recommendation I would have given your way.
After going to Electric Ink to get my piercing tapered from the 16g to 14g, I find out that they have had to stretch many piercings to the right size. Dont go to Texan Tatto unless you want it the wrong size, and no help stretching it to proper size. If you have already made the mistake of going to texan tatto and need something fixed, Electric Ink...
