I came in towards the end of business hours on a Sunday to return a pair of gloves I got from CG online. When I arrived both Cameron and his coworker at the desk were extremely helpful and understanding of the return (color from alpine stars was incorrect) and processed it promptly. After the return, Cameron was kind enough to show me where in the store I could get the gloves I wanted to replace the return with. He then was very helpful with my request to try on a Schuberth C5 helmet, which I have been considering for a while. He was extremely knowledgeable about the brand and similar competing products, had excellent advice based on the style of riding I do, and took the time to let me try on multiple sizes to find the best fit. Though I decided to purchase that helmet on a different day, he was understanding and not at all pushy. After trying on the helmet Cameron processed the purchase of the gloves I came in for in a timely manner and did let me know I was welcome to come back and try other gear at my leisure. He delivered the exact experience I was looking for out of a trip to a gear shop and did a fantastic job. If he is not a highly compensated individual he should be, he is a credit to the store and was a pleasure to work with.
The store itself was clean and very well stocked with gear of all sorts, with many popular brands and colors available. I felt very welcome and that my time spent going to the store was worth it. I absolutely will be shopping here again and would encourage anyone thinking about stopping in to do so, you will likely have a...
Read moreJust got back into riding after a long break, and dropped into the store shortly after the grand opening to try some things out, pick up some essentials (a better helmet, for sure) and get a feel for the place.
It was a great experience; the staff is amazing, extremely helpful, approachable, friendly, and knowledgeable. I spent quite a while trying out helmets, picked the right one, and was helped from beginning to end by a couple members of your staff.
The store is organized very well, everything is easy to find, and the selection is great. Prices are very competitive with online prices (the brick and mortar store is actually competing with its online counterpart, so I guess it keeps things reasonable).
The experience alone will bring me back, but wanted to take a moment to recognize the amazing customer service. Your staff is fantastic at the Sterling Heights store. It's a hobby with a steep learning curve, that can be a little intimidating to get into. Your employees really do make a difficult experience very...
Read moreWent to the grand opening to purchase a pair of off road boots. Not one associate asked me if I needed any help. I finally asked the Alpinestars rep that was demoing inflatable vest if he was knowledgeable in all Alpinestars products. He said he was and he was very helpful, I ended up trying on and purchasing Alpinestars boots. I also purchased a new pair of goggles and the guy running the register was helpful with me selecting the goggles. The store seems to be unfinished, raw concrete floor, no carpet in the area where you try boots on so you end up walking in new boots on concrete, not good. The reason for the meh rating is because I was in the store for quite a long time and not one sales associate approached me. That's a shame because I was almost ready to leave. The Alpinestars rep...
