Approximately a week ago, following recommendations from friends, I visited the Sasan Store for my grocery shopping after about a year. Upon returning home, I discovered that the stone-baked bread had developed mold, and the biscuits and cream I purchased had exceeded their expiration dates, leading to spoilage. This incident raised concerns about the store's quality control and the absence of effective oversight of the freshness of its products. I find it perplexing that such establishments have no more stringent supervision, especially when the consequences of selling expired food products can be severe. Not only does it pose a risk to the health of consumers, but it can also lead to potentially severe cases of food poisoning. In light of this experience, I believe it is crucial to bring attention to these issues and encourage others to be vigilant when shopping at Sasan Store or similar establishments. An incredibly delightful place to shop! I just found this store. I looked around and was almost out the door that the owner behind the counter called me: Lady, please come here! Don't leave, he said! He offered me in the most kind way and gesture a cup of tea and for me to have a homemade Persian cookie to go with my tea. I turned around and could not leave without being thankful for his generosity and the gentleman he was. i had the tea and cookie then he offered bread, meanwhile there were a lot of other people there which we engaged talking, so friendly and wonderful bunch of great people!!! Then I purchased the delicious bread, a box of cookies and 2 scrumptious all times Iranian ghormeh-sabzi stew!!!! It was dellllicious! and the chicken kabob! the rice was made as if it had jewels in it! it was so beautifully decorated and delicious looking! Stay away! I have been overcharged 5 times... in amounts ranging from $14-$35. Once I was overcharged twice the amount! The owner shows himself as being nice and chatty, but in reality he's disrespectful of many customers. My last purchase was a delivery order over the phone... He kept letting me wait while joking around and chatting with other customers or with his staff... Meanwhile, I had to wait for minutes upon minutes every time! And not even an apology! I ended up being overcharged $20 this last time, and instead of apologizing, he shouted at me! This is not the way to make business... A lousy estekan of tea and some bits and pieces of zoolbia bamieh will not make up for being continuously...
