It is true what others have said about costumer service. Today I placed an order and paid before it came out. It took a long time for the order to be taken although there were a lot of female employees behind the counter. One was on the phone for a long time. She finally took the order. A second employee got the items and although I had a bag with items from the shelves meaning that I had paid she asked me if the order was paid for and there was barely time to reply when she rudely demanded to see the receipt. The first woman should have marked the order as paid in the first place. When I walked to the counter I placed a new item on it that had not been paid. She looked at me as if she had caught me on something. She asked me if that had not been paid and I said no at the same time I left the card on the counter. She took the card and went to talk to a man in the back telling him that I had thrown the card at her. She told me that there were cameras and they would show blah blah blah I was tempted to return everything but didn’t after the trip and all the bull. I’m going to think twice before going back. The man came out telling me what she said instead of asking me if there was a problem. I am not going to be mistreated by anyone. Costumers keep them open they don’t do their costumers a favor. It has not been the first bad experience. I’ve also heard employees badmouth costumers. Careful when they take your card out of your line of vision. Also, a lot of the employees touch their hair and faces while handling food orders at the counter. It...

Horrible customer service on phone orders.

Ordered 2 chicken, bean and cheese burritos with no rice and nothing spicy. After I stated that, lady with accent repeats the order and includes rice which I didn't state. I repeat the order again 2 chicken burritos with bean and cheese nothing spicy and no rice. She repeats back, still wrong and I ask for a english speaking person.

She repeats back and this time its correct.

She asked if I'm on the way (3minute drive) and said yes.

I give it 10minutes because all my experiences for phone orders, Istill end up waiting inside the store for my order.

I show up and the order is only one burrito. Same person who took my phone order and she said I ordered 1. Sooo, I had to wait again!

This has been an ongoing issue everytime I visit. I'm coming from San Diego visiting family.

I'll stop coming to El Dorado Market since every visit I experience horrible service.

I talked to this lady respectfully and slowly so there would be no issues. Low and behold, Murphys law was here...

This is one of my family's favorite places to visit. My dad started frequenting this establishment sometime in the 70's. It is a small store, but has a great meat market and sells incredible food.

Yesterday we purchased some wonderful, crispy chicharrones. Those were gone before we even made it home. We also ordered their beans which were creamy and full of flavor. For our main course, we had the Chili Colorado. It has an incredible depth of flavor and the beef is so tender.

Do not leave without their tortillas. I am not sure, I believe they make them in house. We choose the flour tortillas yesterday. It is hard to put into words just how good they are, just get some and enjoy!

The only negative with this store is it is not in the Sacramento area...
