April Daze Boutique — Local services in Stuart

It’s a nice place to get a quick gift and the clothes are cute, but my experience every time I come in is so uncomfortable. I like to shop with a latte in hand and Im always asked to leave it on the counter before shopping. Ok, fine. But then I’m watched like a hawk like I’m going to steal something. I’m trying to look at clothes and the employee is behind me giving me updates (different colors etc). It doesn’t feel like “customer service”, it feels intrusive in an already small space. It’s just unnerving & not relaxing at all. I should be able to feel at ease & relaxed while looking at beautiful things. But all Im thinking is how I can expedite my trip & not forget my latte lol. Probably the most creepy part of it is when I’m trying clothes on and I can see the globe security camera on the wall in the mirror of the dressing room—which means it can see me changing and taking off my clothes. If I can see the camera, it can see me. I haven’t been in a few months bc I felt so uncomfortable, I’m hoping it got moved...

This is my absolute favorite store in downtown Stuart! 😍 I first wandered in at least 10 years ago, & kept coming back. I feel so happy just walking through the boutique. I've purchased so many unique & wonderful items through the years here, for myself & loved ones. I get very excited when seeing that April Daze gift bag when someone gets me something too! My husband has shopped here as a surprise for me, & has given me gift certificates as well so I can find that special something on my own. I love beach decor, & have purchased a variety of items. My 2 most favorite things are a cast iron octopus candle holder (8 places for candles as the arms hold them), & a cast iron mermaid that sits out by our pool. April Daze carries much more than just beach decor too! I bring my youngest daughter there to shop for clothes & decorations as well. Jewelry, perfume, candles, bags, you name it. They have something for everyone. The owners & staff are so nice & helpful too. Absolutely love this...

It’s a lovely store. Over the past 4 years, I have purchased beautiful things. Especially, my favorite lotion Inis. They have some unique items. The crystal hanging glass bowls are beautiful and I have purchased three or four to give away as gifts. I gave a three star. The reason is that last time I was there 2 months ago, with my sister after we had lunch. We purchased several items. But, as we were browsing, I was disappointed that one of the sales lady kept following us around the store and stood by the back door when we were around the clothes area. I am blonde with green eyes. My sister is darker complexion and looks Hispanic. There were other ladies shopping and I did not see the same reaction from that sales lady. BTW, my sister is the Director of the Radiology Dept at one of the hospitals in Martin County. For the reason stated above. I will no longer shop at this establishment. You don’t need...
