La Grand Martier isn't just a restaurant – it's an experience, a culinary journey that tantalizes the taste buds and leaves you utterly captivated from start to finish. From the moment you step through the door, you're enveloped in an atmosphere of elegance and sophistication, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.
Let's talk about the drinks – handcrafted masterpieces that are as much a work of art as they are a delight to drink. The Paloma, with its refreshing blend of tequila, grapefruit, and lime, is a symphony of flavors that dances across the palate, leaving a lingering sense of satisfaction with each sip. And the Sinful Martini? Well, let's just say it lives up to its name – a sinful indulgence of vodka, raspberry liqueur, and a touch of sweetness that's as smooth as it is seductive.
But perhaps the true star of La Grand Martier's drink menu is the Pineapple Grove. Bursting with tropical flavor, this concoction of rum, pineapple juice, and coconut cream transports you to a sun-drenched paradise with every sip. It's like taking a vacation in a glass – pure bliss in liquid form.
And let's not forget about the food. Each dish at La Grand Martier is a masterpiece in its own right, crafted with care and precision to deliver a dining experience that's nothing short of extraordinary. From the appetizers to the entrees, every bite is a revelation, a celebration of flavors and textures that leaves you craving more.
But it's not just about the food and drinks at La Grand Martier – it's about the entire experience. The attentive service, the elegant ambiance, the attention to detail in every aspect of the dining experience – it all comes together to create a truly unforgettable evening.
As you sip on your Pineapple Grove and savor every bite of your meal, you can't help but feel a sense of gratitude for stumbling upon this hidden gem. La Grand Martier isn't just a restaurant – it's a culinary oasis, a place where food, drink, and hospitality converge to create magic. And once you've experienced it for yourself, you'll find yourself counting down the days until you can return for another taste...
Read moreI saw their sachetti appetizer on FB and decided to try Cafe Martier for dinner. It’s a pretty cool spot, long hallway that opens into the speakeasy that you really have no idea is there! Tasteful decorations, hostesses in flapper dresses and polite staff. We started with the sachetti (delicious) and goat cheese croquettes (tiny dollop of goat cheese, mostly potato, I expected so much more goat cheese). The wine was good and well priced per glass. Dinner was scallops for me and the filet au poivre for my husband. Scallops were perfectly cooked and seasoned and my potatoes were good but had too much salt. In fact, salt seemed to be liberally spread on much of our dinners. Our asparagus was slightly undercooked (which I didn’t mind too much) but drenched in salt. My husband ordered his steak medium. It came out rare. Like RARE. Now, we hate sending food back to be re-fired because it always gets over cooked. After almost 15 minutes of waiting it came back, completely brown throughout with a thick crust of salt under the au poivre sauce. The most surprising part of this was there was really zero concern from our server about the fact that the steak was undercooked and then the length of time it took to re-fire. He never asked how it was once he brought it back to the table and no one said a word about it. We paid the $158 bill and I don’t believe we’ll be back. Absolutely did not want anything for free, just wanted someone to acknowledge the fact that the steak was not properly prepared...
Read moreSharing concern for the lack of professionalism by management. I had dinner at your location and experienced the most absurd, embarrassing and unprofessional interaction last night presented by I'm guessing is your manager Saturday evening. I was finishing up dinner with a girlfriend from out of state when we were approached by a woman holding up our bill in front of us at our table, questioning on why our tip was too low. My friend and I had split the bill, I payed with a card for $60 and my friend payed cash for the remainder. Mind you we are still actively finishing our bottle of wine enjoying our time together when this woman approached us on behalf of the server in a "body guard esque" fashion, questioning the tip on my $60 portion while we hadn't even finished our wine before my friend left her CASH tip. I was utterly embarrassed and quite frankly left at a loss of words while this woman was interrogating us at the dinner table. She furthermore ended up apologizing and attempted to hand me some type of complimentary card for future use. I explained that was not necessary as I will never be back to this restaurant given the absurd situation you put us through that ultimately turned my special night into talking about this insane unnacceptable behavioral episode by a member of your leadership. Please take this as a learning lesson to not embarrass and ruin anyone else's special night by the lack of communication between your management and...
