Worst experience ever in my 14 years stay in USA.
Sugar quoted service yes... but staff doesn't know their policies. During thanksgiving sell I purchased about 5000 worth of appliances and asked specifically that I will need them in March end when my house will be ready. Store agreed with condition that I need to change the delivery date when close to 90 days after purchase. I did that. I specifically went to store to do that. That;s when they told me they can hold only for 30 more days. I requested that I wasn't informed about it my house will be ready in 45 days please hold until 45 days. Again they agreed and put the note in my account with the date I wanted delivery. Suddenly my order got cancelled from store and I got call from Samsung 2 weeks before I was expecting my appliances in new home (one of my refrigerator purchase of total order) that my order is cancelled. I was shocked and called store. Store said their policy is not to keep the items more then 120 days. So order got cancelled. Now what...., so another promise from store came saying April 3rd means today they have spring black friday sale coming and they will match the price. During this whole process I called at least 10-15 times to the store. Also, they did not talk nicely so I called customer service department and CS department also promised that I will be given same price. Today it didn't happen and now they are asking me to purchase with the same price available in store today. Customer service is saying that she cannot change the store Manager's mind if they don't want to give the same price.
It is the worst worst worst experience ever..... I wish I can give them -ve stars..
The experience I am sharing is just for this store. I wish I could do something legal action against them because of the trouble they cause me. I never wrote any negative reviews before but this experience made me write the first time.
One more thing I could have bought all the appliances with the same price that weekend with other stores like Sears and Lowes and now I will end up paying atleast 1500$ more for the same. Also my husband opened creditcard with thejust for this purchase .. that is whole different store as they took payment from us even before delivering we had to ask them to put the money back as they cancelled...
Read moreI do not give it 0 starts because it is not even an option. My complaint goes directly to the Appliances department and to the Store manager Clint or Clinton, also Hamilton and Vicky. I would also like to name Rougee who is the sells person on the appliance department( extremely rude, talks down to people and does not seem to have interest in the store's reputation) I spent over $5000 in appliances which I have not yet received. Let me start off by saying that I purchased my appliances Sunday March 3, 2019. From the start the lady that checked us out did not even bother to ask us to which address everything would be delivered. Since the beginning they had the wrong address. An address that I have never even lived at. The delivering company called me the day before that they could not locate the address. After taking a day off work to wait for appliances to be delivered I had to contact Home depot several times and my issue is still not resolved. Delivery was rescheduled for March 30, 2019 to which I received a phone call today from the delivering company that they still have the wrong address. I have complained to the store manager Clint or Clinton, which he claimed that he had solved the issue. Well I just called the main number to Home depot and they have 0 deliveries whatsoever. If you are looking for appliances please DO NOT GO TO THIS HOME DEPOT. From the manager to the sales person, they have no customer service nor interest in helping customers out. I have had such a disappointing, unprofessional experience at this place that no words could describe it. I still have not gotten a phone call form anybody at the store to which I will go in person today and see if how they cannot help. I do not typically leave this type of reviews but my experience has been awful. I hope this serves anybody...
Read moreBeware of the ARS A/C tune up "special"! It's a scam!
My husband and I were approached by an employee about doing a discounted ARS A/C tune up at the Home Depot on Highway 6 and West Airport while purchasing landscaping equipment. We have lived in our home for 3 years and have never done one, because we have NEVER had any issues, so we decided to do it. Almost as soon as Gary arrived from ARS he started talking about how I needed a new unit even thought we've never had any issues. He said that we'd save lots of money on our electric bill and would use the same sized unit we already had, and that he'd bring a rep out the next day to give us an estimate. He also ominously told me that there was such a bad freon leak that the A/C would likely stop working after that night. The next day Darren shows up with Gary (later than they said they would) and they spend over 3 hours doing "calculations" and telling me how our home is set up will cause us to need all this additional services. Darren asked me to turn on the A/C and it turned on fine. They finally quoted me for a $16,000 and a $21,000 job telling me I can choose between the Benz or the Kia. Darren asked me point blank if we need the air to be colder in our home and I said we honestly don't. He replied that he's really trying to get us colder air and kept saying that later we'd be calling and thanking him When they left, our A/C would not turn on! It's been hours and it still is not working. It is now 85 degrees in our home because they sabotaged our unit to get us to purchase a new one. Beware of this scam.
Update We had a wonderful HONEST company called AirGirl come out and they told us the truth. Turns out, ARS had SHUT OFF our unit and LIED about...
