I used this health center at suitland for my 1st baby when Dr Graham was still there and it was a great experience. Now they have midwives and they are worst. First no one call you back qith test result. My pcv was low and no one called me about it until 4weeks later wen go in for fflw up i asked d midwife about my pcv percentage she does not know d meaning until i told her that it mean hematocrit. 2nd i did strep test cos my 1st baby came down with it. No one call me to give result until 4weeks later wen i go for ffw up and d midwife on duty av no idea about it. D nurse kept looking for result for 45 mins and den came back to tell me all is good. 3rd i did blood test to reveal gender and kept calling for result and no one has, idea. After about 2 appt -2 months they told me d sex and dis was after sonogram reveal result. I planned for csection cos i had my 1st baby tru this means and my pelvis is still narrow. D midwives only approved 4 weeks for fmla. I was so furious about it but d manager told me midwives dont approve more dan this. I had to find a doctor asap. If u av good insurance please run away from dis midwives. The midwife are alwaya in hurry to leave d room. When u asked them questions they will tell u thwy will give you a call back which they never did. All dey do is listen to baby hearbeat and measure tummy. What i can di at home by myself. I never missed any appt but always...
Read moreAlways very professional, I am seen within 15 minutes of my appointment time, the front desk staff are helpful and courteous. Dr. Castro is awesome! She listens, she's professional, I honestly believe she has my best interest at heart. I never feel rushed or as if she has more pressing matters, though I'm sure she does. We discuss my health plan as a team and make decisions based on both our input. The facility is clean and neat and there's ample parking in the garage. I love using the online portal, I can check my lab results, appointments and any other communications from the staff and my doctor. This has been one of the best experiences in my health journey that I...
Read moreI had an appointment at 11am. I should up at 11:23am. Take in mind there’s a 15 minute grace period. So the doctor, Dr. Madubata is an hour and half behind. I asked can I still be taken and I’m told NO because he’s an hour and half behind and his lunch is coming up. But if I would of shown up on time I would still be an hour and half behind my appointment anyway because of him. It’s a shame these doctors can be late but a patient can’t be a few minutes late when the doctor is ALREADY behind. I mean whether I arrived on time or not I still would be waiting regardless. Only difference is I didn’t...
