Dont offer to provide email notification for parcels, if in fact, you dont reliably provide this as a reliable added service. As such, do to this deficiency in service, parcels will, apparently be, as quoted "anything not picked up, will promptly be disposed of in the garbage"(a direct quote from an employee). An interesting situation, placed an order for a valuable item, with the impression this business when it sought an email address, claiming to offer an email, alerting clientele of arriving parcels, this would be a reliable choice to have parcels requiring a US address sent to. However a recent experience, proved otherwise, as quoted above by an employee, I unfortunately was deprived of quality service, when this business, disposed of a valuable parcel, to which it claimed it had not received, yet tracking by all handing parties showed clearly, the parcel arriving at this facility, upon direct inquiry, to the shipper, numerous weeks later, it was, determined the parcel had in fact arrived at the shipping address provided, yet, no email notification was provided to me, by pick-it-up (contrary to what is supposed to happen), which would have alerted me of the parcels arrival. The valuable parcel was potentially if not literally disposed of by staff, after a (unknown) set amount of time passed. Be very aware, of the little details, I unfortunately had no recourse, as Pick-it-Up cannot in my view, reliable, ensure they will in fact hold management, employees, , the business which they operate, to a much...
Read moreI was recommended Pic-It-Up by a friend of mine, and was really excited to use the service since I found myself in a pinch when I couldn't get a package delivered here in Canada. The hours were tricky to navigate, and the lack of phone number made it hard to confirm if things were ready. But we were hoping it would be easy! I am immunocompromised, and despite my partner and I being vaccinated we wanted to wear a mask to cross the border and pick our package up. Richelle told my partner that she would charge extra for us to pick our package up if he wore his mask, and that "it brings too much negativity to the workplace". "I want to see people's faces' she told him. The mandates may not be in place, but it's unfair to charge more because someone is trying to be conscious of their health just because you want to see their lips. I appreciate Pic-It-Up accepting my package and providing that service, but we will not be returning or recommending them...
Read moreUsed to love this place, but it's time to find another... Customer service has gone downhill and is at rock bottom. I tried to reach out over a course of 2 weeks with NO reply. website said email address is down (so get another temp one), doesn't respond to Facebook messenger, and no phone number to speak of... I was trying to find out if my package was still there, and since I wasn't able to get a hold of someone I wasted a 2 hour detour to only find out due to the flood it was destroyed or whatever, and no longer there. While I understand that, maybe they should have some method for customers to contact them. I tried to get in touch so I could find that out... instead wasted 2 hours and gas....
It's time for me to find a new place. While I know I'm only one person, it's a warning to others as having no means to get in touch with them, is just poor...
