Ok, ok, ok... muy bueno, malto bene, very good. This place has improved ten fold. We went 3 years ago, got 3 different dishes, they all looked the same, taste the same and no veggies. Never went back. New name, remodel and better food. My spicy teriyaki had veggie! I was so appreciative of that. The teriyaki sauce was good and spiced with szechuan peppers not a pre- made hot sauce. Veggies are fresh, not canned or frozen. Sushi 🍣 was amazing. During this heat wave we've eaten a lot of take out and this is the only restaurant I will return too. Bon Appétit!

Even when this place is really busy and you may end up waiting, I’d argue it is well worth it every time. The Chicken/Beef Teriyaki Combo is some of the best I’ve ever had, and is that way consistently every time I go here. Despite having a slight wait as I came in for takeout during a busy time they were very friendly and apologetic. I’d highly recommend this place for teriyaki to anyone that wants to get great food from a great place. I can’t say enough about how friendly and welcoming the vibe you get from this place walking in to order takeout.

So much fun to have a sushi bar and restaurant in rural Whatcom CO. The sushi rolls were excellent and large portions. The Pho Thai was also excellent and a very large portion. We had hot saki and there was a selection of Asian beers. The owner, Jung served and entertained us. The menu also includes, teriyaki, yakisoba, pho, and other Asian dishes. The owner said he would prepare nori and sashimi style options that aren’t on the regular menu. Thank you Jung!

My wife and I drove up from Anacortes to explore the area around Sumas and, on the basis of Google reviews, chose to have lunch at Nori Sushi & Teriyaki. She ordered yakisoba with chicken, and I ordered a couple of appetizers--egg rolls and gyoza. The food was well prepared, excellently seasoned, and, in a word, delicious. And as others have reported, the portions are quite generous! We both came away with our hunger amply satisfied and my wife with enough left over yakisoba for another meal.

The best part of our experience, however, was the unexpected pleasure of meeting and chatting with the owners, two of the nicest people one could ever hope to encounter. Yong deals with the customers and is quite personable and easy to talk to. His wife Li (I'm not sure of this spelling) does the cooking. We may well have been the last lunch customers for the day since it was nearly 2 pm when we arrived, so after preparing our meals, Li was able to come out of the kitchen to welcome us. Yong's English is very good indeed, but Li needs help from time to time from him. But that doesn't matter. She is such a genuinely sweet person; good will and the desire to please emanate from her and make her slight language barrier insignificant. Li and my wife hugged as we parted, and we drove away from one of the very best restaurant experiences that we've ever had. We look forward...

Sadly it was going to be a 1st time visit, the owner lady was outside when we arrived. I asked her if they were open and she said yes they're open come in. So as we proceeded to go in, the male cook /owner comes running to the door practically pushing me and my daughter out saying " no no no no no no, we close we close, then the lady owner argued with him in her language and he yelled saying NO NO WE CLOSED, and mind you there were 3 people sitting eating in there. This was at 330pm and it was quite insulting and bad behaviour for the owner as we were going there for the 1st time. Once we left, i see the sign saying now open. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE AND BORDERLINE RACIST VIBE FROM THE MALE OWNER from his horrible manners and behaviour. This was my 1st and last time. NO THANKS, i ll give my business to a business who gives a damn about treating customers with respect!!!!!!HORRIBLE...

My wife and I love this restaurant. All the food has been exceptional, especially the generous bento boxes which are overflowing with mouth watering food. Prices are very fair. We can actually afford to eat here regularly. These days only a small number of establishments fall into this category while so many others have become unaffordable for us. The sushi is excellent and my wife loved the Pho which was served super hot in a double walled insulated bowl. The owners are very kind and wonderful people. I don't recall ever feeling so welcome in a restaurant, like we were something special which I assure you we are not. I look forward to many evenings out in Sumas enjoying the awesome food and even...
