I live in the neighborhood, some of the store employees seems unprofessional, some of the male employees standing around gossiping and speaking bad about customers with the Verizon agents, when they all suppose to be working, Verizon agents 2 in particular stands on the mall smile in your face , they don't realize I see the body language and looks on their faces that they are speaking bad about the customers.and then disrespects you when your back is turned, I'm an customer that been shopping at shoppers food warehouse for 20 years, I would be so comfortable buying my groceries there, and I would shop with peace, ñow I'm irritated and depressed shopping there, because of vendors coming on the property and creating chaos. by speaking bad on the customers with shoppers employees. every employees that work with Verizon and shoppers employees that is involved in the chaos. it's unprofessional.can't believe what I'm seeing, beware customers where you shop at for groceries. the experience left me ashamed of some of the shoppers employees and Verizon agents. when I come to a grocery store to shop, I expect respect. not to have some male employees standing around with Verizon agents and speaking bad about me. Okay. This is based on a year of going to this location because it's convenient to my home. These are the things that occurred during this time period.
First, I got food poisoning from cookies made in the store in December of 2017. When I told the manager he didn't care.
Secondly, my iPad Air 2 was stolen by an employee while I was shopping there this summer. I called the 800 number and spoke to corporate loss prevention and was told there would be an investigation. They never got back to me and phone calls are just ignored now. The person still works there.
Thirdly, again food poisoning. This time from yogurt that was sold past the sell date. This happened in November of 2018. Again, management did care at all.
I bought some Shoppers brand extra sharp cheddar on December 29th 2018. I made a sandwich and ate it. Later my girlfriend noticed it had green mold on the edges. Late that night I once again got food poisoning. This time I didn't bother reporting it. I'm pretty sure that management won't care. Plus, I'm too sick right now anyway. Moreover, the cashier rang it up twice and got annoyed when I pointed it out. The customer service is abysmal and clearly their corporate office doesn't care about the customers.Only the profits. After my card was in the reader, my four items I bought had a total over 200 dollars. With ignorance the cashier said that's how much the cat litter cost... I said no it's only 8 dollars a manager came over n didn't know what to do but shut the register down and ring me up on another register. I checked my bank statement and had the charge for 233.51 already processing I called and the bank rep said they needed to talk to the manager at shoppers to stop the transaction. The manger was very rude and denied speaking to the bank representative. I called customer service and complained and the only thing they can go is wait till Monday to have someone call me back regarding the issue. No apology. No refund. No compensation.
