Foody Pizza & Grill, Landover — Restaurant in Maryland

I frequent this location because they are halal, but part of halal should also mean intentional preparation of food. I am disappointed to see that their employees (two women) preparing food did not practice safe food handling. I walked in and watched them through the open kitchen having their snack/dinner on the table where food is supposed to be prepared without gloves and their juice bottles placed on the same table. Drinking eating and leaning right on that table. I watched as they made fries after putting food in their mouth to go over to the deep frier without washing hands in between. I was a customer and they were looking right at me or visible not even ashamed about practice unclean behavior in front of me. I kindly mentioned to the man at the register that they need to be more careful with handling food in this manner, and should have employees eat elsewhere that is not where they are preparing food for customers. Especially not leaning and eating over top the area you are supposed to make the food!

I hope this reaches management, we deserve nice things even in neighborhoods that are deemed the “hood”. A lot of people support your business, please do better. You are one of the least places that advertise somewhat of a healthier option for food. Respect your customers by practice clean food handling. Next time I will take footage if...

I went today to Foody, I was highly displeased with Tazul! I ordered a large "Super Special World Known Steak and Cheese with double meat. I paid for my order, and checked my food before I left. I told Tazul I ordered double meat. He said it was. While telling him it was not, of course another customer or two were in the store. Tazul gave me "the lil wink of the eye and take your food and shut up look!" I took it, but I said I'm going to go where I know where they REALLY make you a good steak and cheese, because maybe I was trippin? I went to Best Cheesesteak and Wings in Largo. I paid a $1 less for my steak and cheese and REALLY had double meat. And the server handed me my bag in my hand and looked me in the eye. I will NEVER come to FOODY AGAIN! I give a grade F for Foody and the other F word to them and Tazul! From the bottom of my heart, respectfully Miguel! I'm gonna tell how you shorting and false advertising...

I am so mad...smh I just ordered the cheese steak sub w/fries. This sub literally was ALL BREAD! VERY thin layer of meat, lettuce, 2 THIN tomato slices, 2 small pieces of provolone & no mayo. Basically when I opened the box you could literally ONLY see the bread. I had to OPEN the sub to make sure it had meat & fixings!!! For 16 bucks I can get the same length sub from any carryout or Jersey Mike's with way more meat & fixings damn near falling out the bread. The only plus was the fries were decent. Other than that I will pass on this place. I was so hungry & I had it Uber to me so I couldn't even take it back. I'm never ordering from here again. Way over priced for what you actually get. I'm shocked y'all are serving such a small amount to people for what y'all charge. Oh well back to the carryouts & Jersey Mike's/Firehouse...
