I purchased numerous pieces of furniture from the Ashley Home Store in Sumter, SC and due to my experience they have lost a life-long customer. While I waited ā€œmonthsā€ for my furniture (ordered in July 2021 and delivered in the spring 2022), I had to call numerous times to determine what the status of my order was. I had to have pieces fixed after the fact because we noticed imperfections in the furniture (ā€œuneven doors) after they were delivered. In May I called and let the store know a door to my Buffet Server won’t close properly. As expected, while they claim the part was ordered we never get any updates. The last time we checked it’s on back-order (problem still not solved). I’d rather deal with a door that doesn’t close than deal any more with this company that doesn’t care to follow-up with their customers (one of which I am no longer). Buyers Beware of lengthy waits (my furniture was actually sitting for months in their warehouse) and poor customer service.

I appreciate you so much for turning my bad experience with ā€œFreedom Furnitureā€ not allowing us to exchange our broken couches into a great experience here at Ashely’s. I was so worried I would not have a place to sit with my family for weeks. She went out of her way knowing the situation we were in and asking her manager if we could leave with a couch today. So glad the manager understood our situation and allowing us to take a piece home today. Thank you Lisa and manager for the great customer service. Go see her y’all. She also has a great sense of humor and was willing to help us with all the numbers and figuring out the best budget for us. We are definitely pleased with this store, Lisa and the nice employees. So happy I can go home and sit on a couch that will last.

We bought this beautiful loveseat from Ashley Furniture about a month ago. It was ordered and then was delivered today. DJ and Dennis delivered and set it up. They were both so very nice, professional and helpful, explaining all the great functions on this loveseat, like charging your phone by dropping in into the charging slot on the arm, and being able to charge another item at the same time with your charging cord plugged it. There is a console in the middle for storing the remote and charging cords, a place for your drinks, and each arm lifts up for more storage! We appreciate and thank DJ and Dennis and Ashley Furniture!!!

We bought this beautiful loveseat from Ashley Furniture about a month ago. It was ordered and then was delivered today. DJ and Dennis delivered and set it up. Ashley's has the worst customer service I've ever had to experience. I asked the woman that sold me my couch if it couldn't be delivered by a certain date that I didn't want to buy anything from Ashley's because I needed a sofa by that certain date she assured me at that time that it would be knowing because she works there and knows on average how long it takes a sectional to deliver decides to lie to make a sale and tells me that it could be anyways. So when I called on the date that I told her I needed my couch Another sales associate informs me that there's no way that my sectional could've been delivered in just a weeks time because they have to put in the order A warehouse has to loaded it up after they get the order and I have to hope there's not someone's order that's ahead of my order gets on the truck before anyone else because They only have so much truck space and so much room. Which I completely understand because that sounds logical. But I asked these questions for reason and the lady that I spoke with that sold me the couch lie because she wanted to make the sale and told me that it could be. I also brought my sales associate a picture of my living room and measurements of exactly how long I needed My sectional to be on each side. I told her that I needed exactly 7' x 7' and explained to me that the sectional comes disassembled and I can make each side however long I wanted it. So I told her again I needed each side to be 7 foot long. She puts in my order and tells me that it is 7 foot by 7 foot. OK perfect. So how much three weeks after I order the sectional. Two very nice men deliver it. It comes into pieces, The couch side is 7 foot they put it on the farthest wall because that's the only place you can go and I was happy because that couch was 7 foot, then they bring in the second part of the couch and is this tiny little loveseat that they attached to the 7 foot couch, it's only 48 inches but whenever you use one of the cushions from the 7 foot couch it makes it 7 foot too but it's not 7 foot on it's own which is what I asked for specifically and made VERY clear with pictures and measurements. It annoys me more that she lie just trying to make a sale because I would've still bought the same couch I just would've had the longer side on the back of my wall in the shorter side on the other side so she still could've made a sale but now I had to put in an order for a whole new couch which just makes the situation even worse. So when these two very nice delivery guys delivering my couch and it's wrong and they understand what's wrong they take pictures type up a report I see it take a picture of the report and sign a copy of the report and they assure me that their report from their little iPad goes directly to Ashley's store in Sumter and they put an order for a new couch from there and that someone would call me within the next couple days to let me know that they put in the order. I wait a couple of days nobody calls me. So I called them the lady didn't tell me she didn't see my new order put in she just kept putting me on hold and told me that she'd call me back, needless to say she never called me back I gave her a couple days and I don't hear anything back. So on Black Friday it's now been two weeks so I call again. The woman that I spoke with told me that she couldn't find my new delivery order but the warehouse manager would know where its at that she was going to go find him. She put me on hold twice for about a minute long apiece which I don't feel like is enough time for you to "go find him" but she takes down my name and number and again assures me that she's gonna call me back when she does find him because it's Black Friday and...

Will Never order Anything from here again!! The day of receiving my brand new mattress from here I called the store and spoke to the manager immediately telling him how it was as hard as a brick and even an 18 wheeler running it over wouldn’t make it any softer..he assured me it would be just like the ā€œcloud-like super softā€ store model within a few weeks and how it is illegal in the state of S.C. to take the mattress back even though I called the very same day I received it! He said all I could do is purchase another mattress!!?? So I’m SOL of well over $1000 for a mattress I can’t even sleep on without being in unbearable pain! False advertisement at it’s finest and completely different mattresses from the store models!! It’s been SEVERAL months and the mattress is still as hard as a brick!! Also I was informed several times by the employee who sold me a queen bedroom set along with the mattress that my monthly payments for both would be $20 or less!! My monthly payments are well over $300 a month, a car payment for just a bedroom set and mattress! I was so excited to finally have a soft mattress just like the store model I ordered and then to receive the one I did is just disappointing.. I’m a single mother who works so hard for every dime I have all to be lied to multiple times and now responsible for paying so much $ for a mattress that leaves me in pain everyday ! Never order from this store!! You will be lied to all for them to take your $ and leave you very unhappy!! This is the first review I have ever left on anything but anyone shopping here needs to know the ugly truth! As for your response below ā€œfrom the owner ā€œ don’t try to play it like that because of the review! I spoke to you Personally over the phone and you Insisted You could not take a mattress back legally because you couldn’t ā€œresaleā€ it in the state of S.C. and that my Only Option was to purchase a Second mattress, so don’t lie on a review making yourself the victim!!! This is definitely your store/ location! The several times I contacted Duke Singleton about it and calling your store to speak to you, Nothing was done about any of it! All of you are in it for the money only and do not care about the customers satisfaction, you all even made it sound as a joke when I called with concerns about the mattress! Every furniture store I have Ever ordered from in the past, I’ve never had any issues like I did...

Came to the store the other day with my naggy wife. Walking in I was already was in a bad mood. Having to listen to her complain about of current living room set for months on end would drive anyone up a wall. I finally agreed to get a new set with the understand we go to a different place than the store we usually shop at. That brought us here. Like I said walking in I was already in a horrible mood looking to just get this process over with to hopefully shut my wife up. After being in the store for no more than 5 minutes we were greeted by an extremely sincere young lady by the name of Ciara Noyes. After speaking with her about what we were looking at she walked with us around the store showing us multiple different options. I was very impressed and pleased with her knowledge of the items she was showing. She answered every question we had and answered question before we could even ask them. This world needs more people like this who take there job seriously and actually care. We ended up buying multiple pieces of furniture. I left in a better mood than when I walked in and my wife left very happy as well. It’s been a few weeks since receiving all our furniture and my naggy wife has not nagged since. I owe this young lady a huge thank you! If you go to the store, I highly recommend...
