If I could give them a zero, I would. I visited this shop today, excited to buy a fresh bouquet and content that they were so close to me. When I walked in, two women were browsing a discount Christmas display. I immediately went to the bouquet cooler, and one of the two women preparing bouquets said "I'll be with you as soon as I finish this [arrangement]". I respected the artist, understanding her being in the creative moment. What turned my stomach was how the artist interrupted her arranging to help one of the two customers (who were together) check out while I was still waiting for her assistance at the bouquet cooler. At that moment, I recognized the problem. Even though our money is the same color, unlike those 4 ladies, my skin is a beautiful milk chocolate. Apparantly, White business is preferred here over all business, so I choose to take my money and business elsewhere. I strongly advise other Black people to take their money and business elsewhere, too.
Response to Owner's Reply: Your designer greeted me, but she did not offer any assistance. She politely asked me to wait by saying she'll be with me when she finished. That was acceptable because I saw her working on an arrangement. That's all that was said to me. I didn't want to make any of you feel uncomfortable, so instead of staring at you two, i looked at each of your bouquets in the cooler, even though i already knew which one i wanted. When I walked in, the two ladies who were there when I arrived were looking at a discount Christmas display. Because it was taking so long for your designer to get to me, I walked around looking at other items in your store. I returned to the cooler and waited again. Both of you ladies looked at me, smiled, and continued with what you were doing. What offended me was how your designer interrupted her arrangement to cash out one of the two ladies. Had your designer even asked if I needed help with anything, I would have told her I'd like to purchase one of your beautiful bouquets. The only reason that I did not open the cooler to pick up the bouquet that I wanted was because that was my first time in your shop and I didn't know if that would've been the...

My daughter got married August 2022 and 3 weeks before the wedding, we had to move on from our original florist, as they just couldn't get our vision correct. Thank You Jen & Nic, your kindness during a very stressful time will never...

After being ghosted by several florists because of my small floral budget, they were a breath of fresh air, working with me to provide the best options within my budget. Their passion for their work, their incredible floral talent, and genuine care for their customers was evident every step of the way. Jen spent a ton of time on our first call asking questions to understand my vision and patiently guiding me through options and sharing her ideas. It felt like working with a friend!
The flowers were gorgeous, held up perfectly on the wedding day, and looked fabulous even days later....
