Dollar General — Local services in Sunset Beach

I had already came on 2 occasions the first time with my parents . Tammy helped us and she was so sweet, polite and helpful. She helped me decide on a long sleeve shirt for me since I’m pregnant and recommend me a size on her opinion and what she knew about the product. I came back a second time and I sent in my husband alone and he came out quoting “wow she was so nice and sweet “ and I asked why and he told me how some lady had helped him with gloves . I asked him what she looked like and it happen to be Tammy again . So I decided to go in and thank her for being so sweet and kind to my whole family because even tho we all went separate times . She treated each and one of us so kindly. Thank you . Till my stay in sunset beach I will definitely be coming here for whatever I need !! As a tourist I am so happy! Thank you...

Nice store and stocked very well. I realize with covid, it's not easy to get athe right person in the right job. Most of the staff is very nice and accommodating with one exception. There's a heavy set woman with glasses that provithe absolute worst customer service I've ever seen. When one of my items didn't ring correctly, she said she'd have to go check. She came back and said there was no sign, until I took a picture of it. She took my phone to the manager asking how to correct the transaction, making the comment that she was about to throw my "f...ing" phone. Needless to say, I won't give this store any business as long as she's...

BEWARE - do not drop off any Fed X packages at this location. This is the second time that I have had a package "disappear" before Fedx picked up. I have receipts for both packages showing that they were dropped off but never made it in the Fedx truck. I spoke to the driver who picks up there and gave him package descriptions and he said they were never given to him. When I went in to the store to question them - both times I was told "its on Fedx - we do not have the packages. Don't want to accuse anyone - but maybe they made it to an employees car. Would love to see any security footage...
