We were heading up the island and saw the store. I made my daughter look it up to see when they closed and if it was really a bookstore. It was!!! Immediately turned around to head in with only 45 minutes to browse before closing. It was small but beautiful. They only had one book shelf for each type of genre, but that is ok. It's new, just opened in June, and visitors down the shore on vacation are just looking for a great read to enjoy while soaking up the sun and relaxing with their toes in the sand. The children's area had some great displays to captivate the young readers, I was even checking them out, and my kids are adults. There are a few stools for the kids to sit and enjoy the books and hopefully find their next great adventure. There was a bigger couch nearby to relax and browse your next great read as well. They also have a great selection of puzzles in case you have a rainy day while vacationing in Jersey. They were very welcoming when you arrived and helpful while shopping. I believe they were the owners.

What a beautiful store!! I was so excited when this opened up down the road. Customer service was amazing and I absolutely love that they put owners favorites on some of the books! I went to choose a book and the attendant was so helpful letting me know that I had chosen the sequel before reading the first one. I bought both!!! Will be back again soon!!😊😊😊

This is the book store LBI deserves. The books are appealingly displayed front facing on counter height tables - with excellent selections for children, middle readers and adults. There’s a beautiful section of beachy coffee table books, mysteries and romance, cookbooks along side new fiction and best sellers. There’s a great children’s section including books for middle readers and teens. They offer generous leather sofas to browse and chat books with the community.
