Lori's Ace Home & Hardware — Local services in Surf City

I live in Sneads Ferry and Absolutely loved going here compared to the one I usually go to. Lori’s has a wider selection of STIHL products and accessories that I needed. The staff was great when I spoke to them and very helpful when I had questions about my lighting fixtures in my garage. I browsed the store and they definitely have what you need in stock. I could have been there longer just looking around. If you ever need anything check out their store or even check online at their website. I will be returning to this store in the future for what I need.

P.S. They even had the big bar of soap I like, Duke...

I have to say it's about the worst customer service I've ever had.I was behind someone who had to go to his truck to get something and instead of the clerk asking me if I was ready to check out he proceeded to ignore me and go back to stocking behind the counter. I hope they have better service at their other store. As much as I hate going to Lowe's for something small I will not be going back to Lori's Ace ever again. I am a contractor as well as small business owner local to the island I hope that their customer service gets better. If I offer that kind of customer service I would not be in...

We were there in early July with an urgent problem with a fuel door that would not open on our vehicle during a day trip to the beach from Raleigh North Carolina. We were searching for some kind of tool that could help us force the fuel door open. Not only did Craig go above and beyond in trying to assist us out in the parking lot, he didn't even want us to buy the little tool we used to accomplish the task. The store was immaculate, and huge! I could have spent the day there! What a friendly and amazing group of staff they have!!...
