Kuperus provided the flowers for our wedding a few weeks ago, and to say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. My family has often used Kuperus for various events and never had a problem, so I was a bit blindsided with how bad this was.

Anne assured us that she'd be able to get us something close to the pictures provided (soft autumn colors) but instead we were met with a bright mess of hot pink. It looked like a child's birthday party. While I completely understand that images found online look different than what's possible in real life, we were not informed of all the changes at all. Anne had absolutely no problem cashing our checks the next day, but we were completely kept in the dark about our flowers (she had our phone number and email and even our address!!). If I had known that she was going to take them in such a bright direction, we could have changed things!! It was an absolute waste of money because I didn't want the flowers to appear in many of my photos; they weren't how I wanted them at all. Anne did "fix" them to be a bit more presentable, but the damage had already been done.

The worst part was the headpiece. That's all I wanted for my wedding "look" and I didn't get that. I gave her a physical prototype of what I wanted, with a clip to put it on, and I was met with a giant mess of greenery on ugly brown tape that kept getting stuck in my hair. She didn't tell us that the flower wasn't going to work out with the clip provided so I had no time to make other plans! So my head was empty for my wedding. I even had to double back to the salon to fix the makeup that was ruined by crying. I was robbed of my "getting ready" photos and relaxing morning because of this. I can't get those moments back and I'm completely heartbroken about it.

So, overall, I suggest you go to the grocery store and save some money. I'm out quite a bit of money for this awful experience. I used Kuperus Farmside Gardens and Florist for my wedding this past September 2018 and could not have been happier with how everything turned out! I was blown away at how it all came together. I emailed Anne about two years before my wedding date. Although it was way too early and I still did not have all my details figured out she took the time to email my husband and I a ballpark estimate at what things would cost. As our date approached we kept in contact with Anne and she was very helpful and creative during the whole process! She took time to meet with myself and my parents and husband. She saw our vision from our first meeting and worked with us to give us the prettiest flowers ever. She even said multiple times at how excited she was to do our center pieces since she’s never done anything like them before! A few weeks before the wedding I went up to Anne’s farm and she walked around with my mom and I and showed us different types of flowers she was thinking of including in the bouquets and centerpieces. It was nice and comforting that she took the time to show me flowers and colors and get my feedback of exactly what I wanted. The day of the wedding Anne and her girls were on time and worked hard setting everything up. It all came out fabulous and I could not have imagined anything more beautiful than what Anne did. She goes above and beyond and used greenery leftover from a wedding the day before to put together a nice arrangement on the mantle with extra roses she brought. The flowers and succulents she added to the cake was more than I could have hoped for. It all looked so beautiful!! As an added bonus she uploaded an album on facebook of our flowers so we got to see them again the following week. BRIDES! YOU NEED ANNE! I found this beautiful little spot while looking for a florist for my barn wedding. After speaking with Anne on the phone for a while, I knew I had to book her: she was friendly, kind, sincere, and had this wonderful vibe about her that made me feel like I could trust her. She gently steered me towards my dream vision, and when she delivered my flowers on my wedding day, I was brought to tears (as was my sister in law.) She created the centerpieces and bouquet of my dreams, and people could hardly believe how stunningly beautiful they were. I had only a color scheme in my head, and Anne made that vision come to life. I loved my bouquet so much I'm having it preserved.
