YOU WILL PAY MORE IF YOU BUY FROM THIS STORE.
The Sutton Verizon store is a franchise store, not a corporate location. This means they are allowed to charge more for the same products and services that you could get by calling Verizon, ordering from the website, or driving 10 minutes up to the Millbury store.
Ordering online directly from Verizon saved me roughly $60-$70 due to the additional cost of the device and service fees this store was going to charge. Apparently, I could have saved the same amount [+2 hours of my time] by driving to the Millbury store.
It is worth adding that the folks I dealt with were very nice. However, they seemed to lack a firm understanding of how to use their own pricing system. This resulted in an extremely long wait for a single quote. For context, I was the only person in the store and I waited for about 30 minutes for the price of adding a single line with a phone, which they eventually just read to me off of a sheet of paper they pulled out of the drawer. If it was only extremely slow service I would be leaving a very different, and likely positive, review. After getting home, I called Verizon to ask a question about the order and found out that I was being charged more for the new line and device (which is apparently supposed to be free). I'm not against franchise stores, but I am against paying more for nothing. Why would I drive back down to that store to waste another 2 hours for them to set up the phone, when I can save $60 and get it delivered right...
Read moreI recently bought two iPhone 13’s. Spent three and a half hours, which happens. The last 45 minutes was them trying to except our credit card, their machine was down). They thought the only thing was to return the phone (after 2+ hours of changing over data, which would have to be reversed) finally we came up with the idea of paying cash. Over to the bank, withdraw enough to pay over $500.00. All’s we’ll, we left with new phones. A few days later we received notice that our credit card was charged the $525. Back to the store.. waited for a while and he said they couldn’t do anything about it, I would have to go to my bank to reverse the charge. To the bank..They can’t do anything, because it has already been processed, you have to call corporate Verizon..call Verizon, lengthy wait, nice girl but after half an hour couldn’t help me, I would have to go back to the store. Called several times only to go into busy signal??? Finally spoke to someone that said I had to wait till Sunday when the manager would be in.. open till 5 or 6:00. Got there at 4.. locked up, closed…so far nothing is settled..hours of wasted time and gas… not a happy customer and certainly will not be recommending this store. First time I have ever written a bad review..hopefully soon they will get...
Read moreI just went to this location with my fiancé to sign up as brand new Verizon customers and to pre-order the IPhone 7, it is rare that I ever review stores but upon entering we were greeted by Nicholas D. and from the first moment it was a horrible experience. He treated us as if we were absolute imbeciles, lying to us about what iPhones were available to us and completely belittling both of us by saying "a credit check is required, but it doesn't have to be excellent" well, little did he know that we were just there last night and had priced everything out and were just returning to complete the paperwork. The associate that helped us last night was nothing but nice, unfortunately because of our experience with Nicholas today we left without finalizing anything, I have never been so uncomfortable around a sales person, forcing us into unnecessary hardware upgrades and...
