I rarely write reviews, but after my experience this morning, I feel I need to. As a mom of an infant, life is unpredictable. I live 17 minutes from this location, but felt like getting out of the house, and hoped to have a napping baby upon arrival. As most parents would agree, plans can change quickly, so I decided to wait until I got closer to do my mobile order. Being a Sunday morning, the line is usually long, so I figured I’d just do it from the parking lot. Upon arrival, there were five cars ahead of me, and I wanted a customized beverage due to allergies, so it’s easier for both myself and the staff to do a mobile order. When I pulled up to the drive through a few minutes later, they told me to order “at least 5 minutes out during busy times”. I explained that I thought that there would be more of a line… so obviously it wasn’t that busy, but sure, next time I’ll place the order while driving. 🙄 As I pulled up to get my food, they barely spoke to me, and just threw the food at me. This is the only location who has ever given me a hard time about my window of time before I order, and that includes the Dunks which is 2 minutes from my house. Interestingly, they still had time to burn my Danish in the amount of time during which my order was placed and I got to pick it up. Not a great experience, next time I’ll go to Natick where I always order from the parking lot, and have a...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would, the staff today were incredibly unprofessional which names I’m not sure of but one had a blondish hair with short bangs, the other one had pink hair and the third one was a big girl, they gave no attention to the order we placed which was around 6-8pm on July 13th even though we were understanding of them still as the job is not easy and tiring as it is, our order was very very late, they gave out other people orders that came after us so we were confused and matter of fact the store was NOT busy at all we sat patiently and waited until there were no names called so we went up and asked about our order nicely and the staff seemed really dismissive of our complaint and acted nonchalant turns out the order we placed was not even being worked on at all! At the end they literally gave us the wrong order after we waited AGAIN, we ended up getting our money back and non of them cared to enough to apologize for wasting our time and patience instead they started talking to each other as if we were in the wrong and acting proud instead of taking accountability like a normal adult should. It’s extremely unprofessional of you Starbucks, you either need to better train your employees or done hire people like...
Read moreI own my own business and, like many others, cafe's are my office away. from home. I initially came to this location because it's large and there is always an open table. When you regularly go to a place, you really get a sense of the people who work there, the leadership, and just the overall way in which they treat people. I go in the early morning, and they are always super busy, with the combination of drive-thru, in house, and all of the people who have ordered on the app and are a bit entitled when they come in and find their drink is not ready. The staff are always working hard, are professional, and handle impatient people very well, and much better than I certainly would!
They seem to pride themselves on knowing the names of regular customers, and while that may seem like a small thing it's really not. It lends itself to a sense of connection in an increasingly disconnected world. Finally, it is also a place that is clearly supportive of the LBGTQ+ community, which feels important to note as well. Sad as it is, we are still a culture that can be pretty narrow minded and ugly at times, so how you staff your business says something about your values, at...
