1 star strictly because the manager was awesome. Otherwise would have been zero. Both women i approached at this store lazy as hell. I placed an order that I had not been notified was ready for pickup yet. I was in the area earlier than expected so I simply planned to go in, locate the item I ordered- buy it myself in store and then go back online and cancel it. Unfortunately, the item was not where it was supposed to be. Upon originally placing the order, the website indicated there were 3 in stock. About an hour after I placed the order it was obvious to me that the items were in stock and had been at least scanned because the item availability changed from 3 to 2, I just hadnt received the notification t yet. I let it slide with the girl at the register, because I figured she was probably busy with the other customers and might not be able to leave her station but the person at the guest service area was so lazy and did not want to be bothered and just told me I had to wait for my email. I explained that obviously it had been grabbed by the fulfillment team because their stock number went down an hour after I placed the order. She said I had to wait for an email and that since I couldn't find what I ordered in store, it's possible, it might not even be in stock and that the internet just listed the stock incorrectly.I asked if she could at least reach out to the fulfillment team and just tell them that I was here or search for my order and she said there was no way for them to do this. She didn't even offer to help me look for the pots when I suggested that maybe they weren't in the right spot. She said it was handled by the fulfillment team and there was nothing she could do. I asked if the fulfillment team worked on site and she said, yes.I then asked if the fulfillment team was employed by target, and she then said, yes.So I then said to her, "I don't understand. How can they be employed by target and on site yet you guys have no way of communicating with them? " I don't know what her deal was but it was at that point that I asked for a manager. Manager Dwayne only took five minutes tops to get up to the guest service area and had my order ready within five minutes of speaking to him. Both young men, I spoke to at the guest service center were very polite and helpful as well. The other three women at the guest service center all disappeared after they called the manager and another guest came in and had to wait for one of them to return which they didn't, but a gentleman came over because he saw them waiting who took care of them. When these three women returned they stayed at the front talking while eating goldfish and even at one point, let a customer sit and wait for a minute while they finished their conversation until they helped her. It wasn't long, but the point is, when a customer walks up to the service desk and there's three people there, they should immediately drop what they're doing, even if they have to cut their conversation short and help the customer.

I’ve been a consistent shopper at this target for years now but after the way my friends and i were treated tonight, i question if i will be making and further visits. We originally made the trip so i can get some more facewash and decided first to stop and say hello to our friend who works in the electronics. When we got there we saw this friend was tied up helping a customer. So as we waited, we casually browsed around and did the typical banter that friends partake in. No swearing, no obscenities, nothing rude, nothing disruptive; none of that. I work retail myself so i try to do my best to respect the workers there and try to be the least intrusive customer possible. We made our way to the speaker section where you push the buttons that make the display speakers turn on. We turned a couple on and began laughing at the absurdity of the music selection. Then, a seemingly unhinged employee made his way towards angrily yelling at us and repeating the phrase: “NOT TODAY”. He then threatened to kick us out of the store. This was very bizarre bc in my youth i had been kicked out of stores before but i always felt it was justified in some way; despite not being happy about it. This was very different and frankly kind of dehumanizing. Never before I have ever seen a retail worker so crazed and upset. You must keep in mind too, they were maybe 5 cars in the parking lot on account of the snow so its not like this was exactly a busy night. This associate’s nametag read “Nelson” and I gathered that he was a manager of some sort. If you’re somehow reading this Nelson, im sorry you were having such a rough day but to take your anger out on paying customers simply just bc you felt like you could is simply wrong and makes you are an embarrassment to all other retail...
Read moreI wanna start off by saying I have made complaints about this target before, but the most recent experience was definitely the most annoying. I went into target because they showed that they had three of an item that I wanted, and I went to wear. The aisle was labeled for the item and they were not there. I then asked the lady if they knew where they were and she asked me for the code and then she said that whatever they had it must be on the floor So she showed me where they would be, and she pointed out a label that was not the item at all, and said “they would be right here “ And clearly it was empty, but it wasn’t even the item I was looking for. I didn’t fight her on it because sometimes target employees are hostile when it comes to stuff like this. She ended up saying “ if it’s not on the floor, then we don’t have them or Someone may have already ordered them! I knew that none of this was true so I decided to do a store pick up for it And guess what? Two hours later they found the item for me. I went and I picked Up what they told me they never had. I knew that they did have them and that they were probably in the back, but it was being hammered into my head that they would on the floor.
