Typically I don’t take the time out of my day to write petty reviews, but I was blatantly disregarded by an employee at this Kroger location (small Asian woman that had a name tag on named Nicel), who I approached for help with price adjusting some desirable chips. I communicated to the associate that the advertised coupon wasn’t showing up on the Kroger app after scanning the code. She wanted to see pictures of the item and the displayed coupon, which I provided. She noticed that the coupon code was expired, but recognized that I should be able to still receive it for the advertised price considering it’s not my fault that the store had the since expired coupon listed. She asked to see my phone, and tapped around the screen in the Kroger app just to give my phone back and say “yea it’s not a digital coupon” and walk away. I don’t understand in what world was this considered appropriate customer service. They need to re-train their employees on better...
Read moreCame in to shop here as I normally do, usually the best kroger to shop at. Came across a deal in the store and saw it on the app, buy 2 GM cereals get 3 free. Scrolled through the app to see which ones matched as well as checked for signs to see what's marked. Got to the cash register and the ones i picked weren't ringing up the deal, after talking with the cashier Carol and her talking to the bagger they tried to figure out which one was out of place, I switched out a box for one that was in the labeled sale area, brought it back and still wasn't ringing up. Instead of getting a manager to help or having the proper sale items available listed at the register so I could pick the right ones she acted as if I needed to keep going to find another cereal or just pay. Very disappointed and time consuming just to have to put 6 boxes of cereal back. Would of loved a manger to help so I could of bought 5. I ended up...
Read moreI have debated about writing a review, but the situation at this location has become so awful. We've been shopping at the King Road location for over 20 years, and the quality of the produce is disgusting. The first excuse was "supply chain" and then "availability" and finally "supply chain." That is completely untrue because I've started to go to Meijer where their produce does not look so old, wilted, and frankly, gross. What they use to sell as a broccoli crown is now a general stalk of broccoli (mostly stalk). I have stood gazing at the lack of selection and had conversations with other appalled customers. I don't love huge stores like Meijer, but I'm so upset by how the produce department has plummeted. It's not just because of covid, or the holidays, or whatever sorry reason that I've been given. It looks like a complete oversight of what is deemed...
