You attempted to reach out to me for payment info with no issue when that didn't go through but you did not reach out to me about my request to cancel my membership. Per the last conversation we had with your employee I consented to the cancellation as well so blaming my husband for not returning a phone call or email when we clearly stated we wanted it canceled on that call. Send me a bill. You did not. People don't always read their emails. I don't depend on emails We were told on the phone that we had to pay the remaining amount of the membership. Per your employee. You might have reached out to my husband but after his last frustrating conversation he had with your staff about canceling it he was done with your business. As far as the contract, yes we did sign that contract in the middle of buying a gun, which we received a discount for buying but when you have a 853 page contract to read( however long it is. I don't care at this point ) and try to read a lengthy contract and get through all of that is really time consuming. I specifically asked if there was a cancellation fee and YOUR employee told me NO. We specifically asked YOUR employee when we tried to cancel and they told us we had to pay out the contract. So obviously your communication with your employees is not very good if we were lied to not once, but twice about cancellation fees and how those were handled. It's ok, lesson learned. We won't be back, but with the plethora of other reviews I have seen in here stating the same miscommunication maybe you need to address that with your staff. When I ask a question I expect to get a straight answer and your staff did not provide that answer or deliberately kept it out of the convo when it was requested. So like I said it's a nice facility obviously though not for us and others better read and take that contract home before signing it so they don't end up like we did.*
As far as the facility goes, it nice, they have a few things that were beneficial but alot of the training and other benifit they offer are all at an additional cost. Which I get but when you're buying a gun and they tell you that you can save an additional amount on that gun if you get a membership that is where the shady stuff comes in. DO NOT BUY THE MEMBERSHIP. They tell you the membership and the benefits of having it and "classes" they offer. They leave out that its and additional cost for alot of them. Sure they come and will watch you and give you pointers, yes they will offer 1 gun safety class but anything else cost more and the gun safety class is to promote the additional classes that cost money. OK fine. I specifically asked if there was a cancelation fee for the membership and was told there was not, we could cancel anytime. Fast forward to a few months ago, we went to cancel the membership and was told that we would have to "pay it out" for the two years contract. We cancelled the contract. We paid on it for the last few months, still coming out of our accounts. No cancelation yet. There was an issue with our card so they contacted us in which we told them months ago to cancel it. Sent them an email, ( im sure they didn't get that either) they continued to charge our card. Called again and now all of a sudden there is a 350.00 cancelation fee. Im not sure how many people will read this but their more expensive then the other shooting places around here but we thought, her its something to do and we have fun with it. But the cost got to be to much and while being told there was no cancelation fee only to be charged one is really bs. Its a typical bait and switch and I don't like businesses that do that so never again will I even come here to even buy a gun or consider buying one. Im not the only one on here complaining about that either so obviously there is an issue that someone needs to report to the federal trade commission or find out why their able to do this. I get you sign a contract but you lied to get me to sing it and...
Read moreHonest review from a potential and hopeful customer, who has visited the store 3 times:
Huge store, square footage wise, feels cavernous. This is both a good and bad thing because of:
Amount of stock. To be honest the store feels quite empty. They have so much room, they could have TONS of guns, but the store pretty basic. Some low half isles of accessories, 3 small pistol cases. Rifles along the wall, but all stored horizontally to take up as much space as possible, spaced pretty far apart to make it look like they have more in stock than they do. And upon closer inspection it gets worse, due to:
Variety of stock. You'll see 6 rifles on the wall in 1 section and get excited, you'll get close enough to read the tags, and 3 will be 22LR, 3 will be 5.56. All the same model. Same features. I will give credit where credit is due, they do have some interesting pieces. Shadow Systems, Nighthawk Custom, Korth, Arsenal. But for the most part, they have all of the same generic polymer framed pistols that everyone else has. They have all the same budget rifles everyone else has. They sell no-name AR lowers and uppers. If you're looking for a 9mm pistol, or 22lr rifle/5.56 rifle, you will do fine here. Prices are decent. If you're looking for something else like in .300BLK or .350 Legend, don't bother. Opening day, when I thought they would have the most stock on hand for the Grand Opening, they didn't have what I was looking for in stock, but assured me they usually do have several. Wasn't asked if I wanted to put in an order for one. Haven't had a single AR or Upper in 300BLK in stock on any of my visits.
Customer Service: First time in the store on opening day, generally pleasant experience with the sales associates. Was asked what I was looking for, how they could help, to let them know if I needed anything. Approached every few minutes by an associate just to check in and see if I needed to get anything out of the cases to check out. Second two times in the store, I was pretty much left on my own to wander around. Maybe it was a skeleton crew, maybe they were taking calls in the back.
I may stop in after a few months to see if things change, but for the near future I don't see a reason to go here over any of the other area...
Read moreBe aware of the bait & switch techniques used by their employees. When shopping for ammunition in their store, the floor representative informed me that it was cheaper to purchase their ammunition that day with their 15% discount promotion going on than it was to purchase ammunition online. After taking the floor representatives word for it, I purchased (2) cases of their ammunition. That evening I went home and looked online at a competitors website and it was much cheaper to purchase the same exact ammunition online than it was in their store with their 15% discount promotion which there was a $300 dollar difference!!! I went back the following day to speak to a store manager about the situation and was informed by an assistant manager Chelsea that what the floor associate had told me was absolutely true but knowing that there was a large discrepancy in pricing, she could only offer me a $50 gift card. I said no due to the $300 difference so she took all of my information, paid receipt and online documents in order to give to her district manager who would be in the store 2 days from now on Tuesday and that I would be contacted to resolve. Tuesday came & went along with Wednesday, Thursday and a 1/2 day on Friday with absolutely no response from the district manager so I decided to stop in once again and talk to another store manager named Brittney who tried to tell me that the floor associate & assistant manager said buying in their store VS shopping online at “their website” verses was cheaper in which I informed her that “their website” never came out of the floor representative nor assistant managers mouth. Needless to say, the store manager Brittany said there was nothing that she would do to resolve the situation and I told her that I would be in touch with the Better Business Bureau & my credit card company to resolve…Brittany said the Better Business Bureau won’t do anything about it but I told her that I disagree. Long story short, this company is not honest in their sales practices, nor will not take care of their customers when they have an issue! Do your due diligence and double check what they tell you in their store vs online and you will see what I am talking...
