Highly disappointing! This restaurant used to be a favorite of my family's 30 years ago, so to celebrate my dad's life after his passing, my mom, sister and I decided to go out for a nice seafood dinner (dad's favorite type of food). First, the margarita my mom ordered didn't even TASTE like a margarita and was so watered down you couldn't tasts any hint of alcohol in it. Next, the menu selections were very limited and the prices were much higher than other good seafood places I've been in Toledo ($33. for scallops). The calamari appetizer was strips...never seen anything like it...and vaguely tasted like calamari! I ordered the Scallop Cappelini, which was described as having a butter, garlic, and white wine sauce, my sister ordered the seafood platter (to the tune of $22.00 and $29.50 respectively). Mom ordered the lobster roll with fries and salad. Once the food came, we were appalled at the small size of the portions in comparison to the prices. My dish came in a very small bowl and the seafood "platter" was just an oblong plate smaller than the size of a regular dinner plate. Although my sister thought the sweet potato fries were tasty, the perch was incredibly small and overcooked. My dish was absolutely without flavor whatsoever. The "sauce" was a watery, had no garlic OR butter OR wine flavor to it whatsoever. I had to douse it with salt, pepper, and squeeze some fresh lemon over it for it to even be palatable. Mom's lobster was mushy, as if it had been frozen, then thawed. The salads were decidedly lacklustre, though the bleu cheese dressing was chunky and good. Our waitress was not very attentive to our needs but there was another "floater" who kept disturbing us trying to take items off the table before we had even received our meal! All in all, for $100. this was extremely disappointing and we won't...

I made a reservation for our anniversary roughly four days in advance. When we arrived the restaurant was roughly 70% full. They seated us literally in the waitress station. We asked to be moved and they accommodated us. We had the Lobster Bisque and French Onion soup and they were good. We were then waiting quite a while for our entrees . Numerous people around us received their entrees even though they had arrived well after we arrived. We then were presented with our entree's. My salmon was tender but the hash browns were overcooked to the point of being hard enough to be inedible. My fiancé's lobster was overcooked and burnt. She loves lobster and has ordered it in at least 30 restaurants. She has never had lobster so poorly prepared. I am not one to send food back because I believe those preparing food know what they are sending out. Those that deliver food see what they are delivering. Professionals take care of these issues before they are delivered. Employees that don't care show you how they feel about their position, and place of employment, and their willingness to remedy such situations are usually...

The food here is excellent, and has been for years. My husband had bay scallops with hash browns and a salad, and I had breaded haddock and coleslaw. Both dinners were really good. No complaints from this couple. The atmosphere is that of a family restaurant and the staff treats you like family. We were back this evening (3/25). The restaurant was PACKED, but everyone was seated as soon as possible. The staff were terrific, as was the food. This eatery has NEVER failed us.

Here we were again on Nov. 4 for dinner. We try to sit at the bar, just for a congenial feeling. We were seated immediately (at 5:00 pm) and were able to order beverages immediately. The bar and serving crew were on the ball. We ordered our dinner and drinks - drinks were out immediately, and the dinner orders were place just ahead of the drinks. Our dinners (scallop dinner & fish & chips) were in front of us in 15 minutes. Dinners were perfect & delicious. We cannot wait until we return - asurdedly it...

Me and my husband went to try something new. Heard folks raving about this place so decided to try it out. The location is small and quaint. The service is great. Our waitress was super friendly and very attentive. Prices are on par with seafood. They serve bread prior to the meal. I got French onion soup and asked for extra cheese. It was yummy. Lots of onions and bread in the soup. I also got Cesar salad as a side dish to my meal. My full meal was the smoked salmon cakes and a baked potato. I chose 2 salmon cake option but my husband ended up eating one of them because they are the size of Burger patties; which is amazing I just couldn't eat two. Too full from soup and bread and potatoe and salad. They do have other options in case someone in your party doesn't eat seafood. Overall we will take family back there. My only sad commentary is that I wish they had hush puppies; sweet and buttery. Id buy that appetizer!

Food was good they had a good variety of land and sea dishes, a little on the pricey side. Drinks were strong our and the server was great. They do have specials on certain nights, friday and Saturday they serve lobster bisque!! We went on a Friday night and it was busy, they do take reservations so I would recommend that on Friday and Saturday at dinner. This place has a very dated look and much of the patrons were in older generation. It reminded me of going to a dinner with my grandparents.
