I have a rural (so-called) business in Union,WA .Freight NW was given a pickup order by Larger freight carrier for pick up at my location in Union on a specific date so I could comply with my customer's ship date. Later date would result in order cancellation. Freight NW did not have enough business in our area that day so decided not to pick up my shipment. If I didn't have a friend who had a pickup I was out of luck. I borrowed his pickup, unstrapped and unwrapped the pallet , loaded the ship units on the truck and took them to Tukwila myself so I could save my biggest order of the year. I was not even notified they weren't coming to pick up the order. Their service, or lack of could have put me out of business.
