We recently had the pleasure of trying out glass blowing for the first time, and happy we did at Tacoma Glass Blowing Studio. (We didn’t even see it on or have a Groupon LOL) It was a natural find by our cousin, and such an awesome time! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff including Casey and another (My apologies for forgetting their name). They were welcoming, helpful, and informative. They got us all prepared, helped us pick out our choices for the experience and are shipping our creations to us. The pieces in the studio store/lobby made by instructors and local artists were amazing, standing out with their vibrant colors and shapes. Inspiring! We loved how they posted the names and pics of the instructors for the day on the board, and how you could see them at work through the window. Best part though - we totally won the lottery getting Logan as our instructor. He was an absolutely talented gem as he guided and instructed us sooooo PATIENTLY through the glass blowing process (4 times – once for each of us – and he truly made us each feel special). Logan made it all look super easy and seamless, explaining each step with such clarity that even beginners like us felt confident. We couldn’t believe how he could bear the heat while still continually smiling and being so thorough. Logan is clearly doing what he loves. We couldn’t stop talking about him afterward. When back at the hotel, we were all extremely tired from the heat, we just stayed in for the night and watched the Netflix show “Blown Away” and all agreed we need to see Logan on there! He would for sure be a crowd fav. Highly recommend Tacoma Glass Blowing Studio and ask for Logan!! Such an unforgettable experience...Such outstanding customer service…You...

Hey guys it's August again and you know what that means... Leo Season!!!! ♌️ What better way to celebrate my birthday than going out to WA with my lil sis and cuz for a girls weekend. On our to do list was to visit Tacoma Glassblowing Studio. I have been to glass studio's before but NEVER have I EVER participated in the creation of making glass art🤯. Well let me tell you this experience is a 100/5 on the GEMS of Tampa 💎score card. I know it's not in Tampa but it was such a fantastic opportunity and experience I had to write a review on it. We were greeted with open arms, which is a big plus for me. Then we were instructed to pick out an object from an area of shelves. These were the items we would be replicating. Next we were taught about the glass colored shards which were in little bins ( you were able to pick 3 colors) the shards would go on your tray. You want to pick colors that compliment each other so the 3 colors you picked show up and don't cancel each other out. Next is the SUPER exciting part. We were introduced to our glass blowing teacher ( Brian). Brian helped us make our blown glass art from start to finish and taught us along the way. This experience was definitely a first for me. I shall cherish it forever. Thank you so much Tacoma Glassblowing Studio...

We had such a great time at Tacoma Glassblowing Studio! We were looking for something unique to do for my brother’s birthday, and this experience definitely delivered. There were five of us total, and we used a Groupon for the class.

Ben was our instructor and honestly made the whole experience even better. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and really took the time to make sure each of us felt confident and understood what we were doing—including the 10-year-old in our group. He walked us through every step clearly and made sure we all stayed safe while still having fun. You can tell he genuinely enjoys teaching and working with people.

By the end, we were all proud of the orbs we created. We haven’t picked up the final pieces yet (they need a couple days to cool), but based on how things looked during the process, we’re excited to see them.

Just a heads up—while they recommend wearing a long sleeve shirt, I personally don’t think it’s necessary. It gets pretty warm while working with the glass, so dress comfortably.

Our group had a wide range of ages, and we’d all absolutely recommend Tacoma Glassblowing Studio to anyone looking for something fun and different. Ask for Ben if you can—he...

My mother and I love to be creative... As a surprise, I decided to visit her over her birthday and take her to a glass blowing class (she does stained glass art so this is right up her alley!) When we arrived we were greeted with friendly staff who checked us in immediately. There lovely girl at the front (unfortunately I can't remember her name) was very helpful, informative and wasn't afraid to be honest about some decisions we were making color-wise. When we went back into the shop we were paired with Ben. I have to tell you... you guys have a rockstar in Ben. He is funny and informative not to mention very easy to work with. Working with Ben you just know he won't let you walk about of the studio without something you absolutely love. He even made my mom something special for her birthday (honestly I think she likes it better than her bowl! lol) We talked about making this an annual thing, and I will say I hope we do! Thank you for giving my mother and I an experience we will never forget... Amy in Denver
