Edit to add: We've brought many friends and family here over the months. It's our go to eating experience when in the area. Very glad to say the food and services are remarkable and consistent. They serve this Chai drink that is absolutely magical. We stopped by for dinner before going to L&D due to high blood pressure, got the Chai, and my blood pressure lowered. I'm not a medical professional by any stretch, but I swear by this Chai. Inside the little shopping area there is a great food court. In that food court is Little India Express. The food is so bold in flavor. The Naan is fresh, and the dishes are made to order. There is dine in available, but you can also order to go. Uber eats also has them listed as an option. We first ordered on Sunday, but after a power outage at home we were not able to finish our meals. So we decided to come back again and give it another go. This is fast becoming a favorite place. Good, comfort food. Not too spicy, bold and bright flavors in every bite.

This Indian restaurant is inside a food court. Very casual. You can eat here but normally we like to do take out from any of the restaurants here. Little India express is one of the best Indian restaurants I've eaten at. I didn't used to be a big fan of Indian but since eating here I crave their food. My most recent order we ordered the aloo tikki as an appetizer. They are basically a potato cake and they serve it with a mint sauce and a tamarind sauce. Both were good but I did prefer the tamarind. For entrees we eat family style so we normally order two different things, one thing we know and one new entree. This time we got the buttered chicken and the palak paneer. The palak paneer was a new dish to us and omgggg so good. I was looking forward to left overs all day today. Def recommend this place for comforting Indian food. We found ourselves our regular Indian take out spot for sure.

I'm 7 and a half months pregnant and have been craving Palak Paneer so bad! I chose the lowest spice level this time to try it out and am going to try the next level up next time! The large portion is going to give me at least two meals and is exactly what the baby wanted! The Veggie Samosa's are super flavorful, crispy on the outside and warm on the inside complimented perfectly by the sauce. I washed it all down with a Masala Chai which was just sweet enough with balanced spices. A perfect meal truly, I can't wait to eat my leftovers! Located inside the Tacoma freight house station in the food court area. Staff was super warm and welcomed me with a smile and gave service beyond basic pleasantries, you can tell they enjoy their business and the people it brings. Thank you so much for an amazing experience Little India Express!

Had previously enjoyed this restaurant but today I found a hair in my food a white hair that the chef said was not from him and when simply asked to refund the meal as I was icked out and no longer wishing to eat my curry (I had not consumed a single bite) he attempted to inform me at this time I couldn't have a refund as they did not offer refunds but he would make me something else even when I didn't want nor do I ever order anything else until pressed about the hair and health issues of it he while complaining gave me my money back slowly slamming and banging around on his till I accepted my money and while talking about my experience to someone else while considering making a new purchase at another food establishment my SO had enjoyed for their lunch I was crept up on and yelled at by the guy who had made the food and refunded me yelling about how I got my refund and I should just go away that I was trying to ruin his business I was just talking wasn't going to post a review but with how agressive he was I am worried there may be something wrong with their restraint they don't want people hearing about I don't think it's right to attack people verbally for wanting basic Heath and safty guidelines be...

The cook here does not listen. First visit was ok, had a 3 star paneer tikka masala and samosas. Samosas were so spicy my kids couldnt have any, but the 3 star heat tikka masala was so bland and mild that i fed it to my 2 year old. Next visit was for the same thing, but 4 star heat. I called the order in, asked for no salad, and he said yeah man no problem and hung up. Didnt tell me a cost, or ETA for order. Very rude and poor customer service. Showed up and still got a salad and for no reason at all my tikka masala had added broccoli in it? So he tool it back, pulled out the broccoli and most of the paneer, and added a crap ton of heat. I assume to punish me for asking for no broccoli when I never ordered or asked for it. Got home and it was not edible due to the heat. Insane and painful, zero flavor just fire. Called - he apologized and said come on down tomorrow and I will remake it. Just showed up to pick up, and he want to charge me full price. This is after he over charged me a dollar the first time for broccoli I didnt ask for. Nightmare of an ordeal...so much wasted time and gas, and then the liar goes back on his word. Do not...

The BEST Tikka Masala in the entire Puget Sound and I will die on that hill.

I’ve been getting food here for a few years. I have NEVER gotten any difference in quality, let that sink in.

This place is SO GOOD that the quality hasn’t dropped once in the years I’ve been getting food as a regular.

The price is more than fair, portions are generous, and you get a massive portion of rice and complimentary salad.

The people who are cooking and working there are so incredibly kind and generous every time I go, and you can tell they care about their food and customers.

I dream of their Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan.

Anyone who can eat here should eat here. If you don’t like Indian food, eat here and it will change your mind. If you like Indian food, eat here and it will become your favorite restaurant. If you like food, eat here and Indian food will become your favorite cuisine.

I don’t want to hype it up too much, but you know how it is when you find a place you love. You want to share it with the world and shout its praises from the rooftops.

Whatever they’re doing, they’re doing it right, and I hope it continues to be as successful and high quality...
