I recently visited the Tacoma Mall, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations, earning a solid five-star rating. The Christmas decorations were nothing short of spectacular, creating an enchanting and festive atmosphere that truly put me in the holiday spirit. Every corner of the mall was adorned with twinkling lights, beautifully decorated trees, and charming seasonal displays. It was like stepping into a winter wonderland!
The selection of stores at the Tacoma Mall is simply amazing. From the stylish offerings at JCPenney to the trendy fashions at Old Navy, there's something for everyone's taste and preference. The diversity of shops ensures that you can find the perfect gift for everyone on your list, making holiday shopping a breeze.
What truly sets this mall apart is its fantastic Food Court. The variety of culinary options is unparalleled, offering a smorgasbord of flavors from different cuisines. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty meal or a quick snack, the Food Court has you covered. It's a great place to refuel during your shopping spree or to gather with friends and family for a delicious meal.
Additionally, the presence of a Starbucks in the mall is a delightful bonus. It's the perfect spot to grab a comforting cup of coffee or a festive holiday drink to sip on while you explore the shops. The convenience of having such a well-known coffee shop right in the heart of the mall adds to the overall enjoyable experience.
In conclusion, the Tacoma Mall offers an exceptional shopping experience, especially during the holiday season. The captivating Christmas decorations, diverse selection of stores, and outstanding Food Court make it a top-notch destination for both locals and visitors. I can't recommend this mall enough for a festive and enjoyable shopping excursion. Five stars...
Read moreThe restrooms are horrendous. Specifically the ones by sees candies: Only 2 of the stall doors lock and one of them doesn’t even truly lock because if someone in another stall happens to slam their door, it will pop right open, so truly only one stall locks. This is a direct invasion on my right to privacy and everyone else’s, especially as someone who works in the mall and has to constantly worry about not having privacy when using the restroom. The handicap stall has been broken for at least a year, but I’m pretty sure it’s been much longer, which is ableist because they are exclusively not providing access to handicapped people by refusing to fix this, it doesn’t matter if there is another handicap stall in the restrooms at the food court which is ALL THE WAY ON THE OTHER SIDE, someone who is handicapped should not have to make that journey if it can be prevented. The janitors constantly close the restrooms 20-15 minutes before the mall is even closed which is unacceptable, patrons and employees need to have access to the restrooms during the entirety of the mall’s hours of operation. On top of that if you try to use the bathrooms during that 20-15 minute window before the mall closes, most of the janitors are rude and will not let you in and on the off chance that they do let you in, they act like they are doing you some sort of favor. Get better management, make...
Read moreYes the entire Tacoma Mall goes. I would say it's usually a wonderful experience. There's always bumps in the road but for the most part very good. Nordstrom's is always a treat, as is Macy's. However, we were at the food court in the mall and the food at the mall at the food court anyway. Just really isn't what it maybe never was, but I remember it as being better and the service being better and the servers being a little more friendly. At least understanding that the customer is the reason that they're there. I don't expect them to think I walk on water but I don't expect them to be on their phone or talking to the other employees instead of waiting on myself or the other customers that were standing around waiting to be waited on. So to that end I would definitely buy my food somewhere else. Save yourself the headache and get something that has good flavor. Good price. Good quality. I have a couple recommendations if you don't want to cook it home which is my first or it could be my second go to Ty's tavern to one of the best food places around. It's in gig harbor. The prices are good. The food is fresh and great. I think you'll enjoy everything on the menu. So if you don't want to cook, definitely go to The Tides tavern (don't let the name fool you), the staff will make you think you're in a five-star resort. I highly...
