Tahoe Style — Local services in Tahoe City

Disappointing experience. I bought boots yesterday. When I got back to the room they felt bigger than when I had tried them on. I went the next day to see if they had a size smaller and they did not and then they refused to return them. The lady was not very nice she said there was a tiny sign next to the register that said no returns allowed. As a small business owner, I would let my customer know ahead of time that an item is final sale. Not being able to return something is kind of a big deal in the retail world, especially when it comes to larger purchases. The lady’s excuse for not making an acception was that they are a small business, but how is the customer supposed to know that when they are located inside a large hotel chain.
