After posting my one-star review, I was contacted by the owner of Gold Coast, who looked into my concerns. Gold Coast schools record the class and talk about my concerns with the instructor. I'm happy with the outcome of the conversation. A business that is willing to listen to its customers is refreshing.

The owner of Gold Coast was very concerned about my claims, and I’m shocked that Gold Coast would offer a course that undermines the very things they assist one in obtaining a career in real estate and community management. I have both licenses. I was looking to take some CE classes and registered for a Property Management course. We’ll imagine my surprise when I realize that the class is educational too, bypassing the very profession they offer. One of the teachers called realtors liars. I had had enough. I am a licensed CAM AND REALTOR. To say that realtors are liars at Gold Coast School is just insulting. When I called the school to inform them that the class was undermining the foundation of the school's basic existence by stating that realtors are liars, I was passed around and told that the property management class was a third-party course and that it was not a CAM or real estate course. Then, we offer it in real estate and cam schools. The class was not expensive, but I gained nothing from it, as it taught investors how to bypass both Realtors and CAMs. What a waste of my time...

Thank you Jeff Shanley ! Upon registering for the HOME INSPECTION course I didn't know what to expect. However after about a week into it I began to feel very hopeful as to my potential success rate based on the easy-to-follow teaching style of Mr. Shanley. He's a well of knowledge, pulls vital information from his mental archive of experience, charismatic, very much keen on the overall structure of this specific field, well spoken, very clear and punctual, add a little mix of humor along with super engaging life stories related to the subject at hand, and what you've got is a master class study into one of the foremost rising trades today. I walked into this not knowing a thing about construction, how inspections work, or much about the industry---just a strong curiousity that was pulling at me. What I walked out of the course with was a hightened excitement regarding my future and success in this field. And it's all thanks to Jeff Shanley. On behalf of me and my family; THANK YOU GOLD COAST for a wonderful experience, the knowledge I gained was priceless, truly above and beyond the bare minimum !
