I had one of the worst experiences with Papa John’s on 9/5/25. I placed an order for 3 large pizzas, wings, and a 2-liter soda (over $80). The ordering process was smooth, and I was told delivery would take about 45 minutes.
When the driver arrived, he only had a small box in his hand (looked like a personal pizza). I told him that wasn’t my order, and he admitted he had delivered my actual order to the wrong address. Instead of correcting the mistake, he told me to call the store.
When I called, the store told me the only option was to issue a refund, which would take 3–5 business days. I explained that I didn’t want a refund—I had company over and needed the food I ordered. I even offered to have them remake the order and said I would pick it up myself, but I was told no. This was after 10:00 p.m. on a Friday night, and the store doesn’t close until after 1:00 a.m., so there was no reason they couldn’t have remade it.
To make matters worse, when I originally placed my order, I was told they were out of Crush soda and disposable plates, which I should have taken as a sign. And when I asked to speak to the manager, he didn’t even have the decency to get on the phone—someone else just told me again that “all they could do” was issue a refund.
This was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Mistakes happen, but the way this store handled the situation showed a total lack of customer service. I was left with no food for my guests, no resolution, and now I have to wait days to get my money back.
You would think that a large company like Papa John’s would handle a situation like this better, but sadly that was not the case. I will never order from this...
Read moreIt's actually 2 1/2 stars didn't know how to make the star half (lol). I have been a Papa John's customer from the very beginning they took me away from Pizza Hut. I remember when the had the individual pizza and a drink for lunch (that's no longer there). I use to buy pizza every Friday or Saturday and made it a movie night with the family or friends. Lately I'm have been very disappointed with the customer service, the service, and even the food. I recently ordered a Cheeseburger Papadias and it was the most awful thing I ever had it did not look like it did in the commercial. I've had Papadias before but I wanted to try this one. First of all there was so too much cheese sauce and pickles, and no hamburger meat. Lately they have been very stingy with the ingredients and charging for everything. Yes I know they are a business and must make money but at who expense. I loved Papa John's Pizza but the are beginning to lose me as a customer. I'm now heading towards Marco's Pizza. I did give Papa John many chances but there was no improvement. True this is my first review I just couldn't take it more. Sorry Papa John our relationship has come to an end will miss you but I will remember...
Read moreAfter giving this papa Johns many chances over the years. Your odds of getting a good quality pizza are about as good as the hard rock betting app. Sometimes you win but many times you lose. As someone who has worked in a pizza establishment for 5+ years, I know a good/bad pizza when see one/taste one. I think the main issue is that they pre-stretch the dough and leave it on the pizza screens on standby waiting for orders. The problem with this tactic is the pizza is usually crunch on the bottom and crust like a cracker while being fluffy inside like a pizza should be. Also sometimes the dough doesn't rise as much in the oven giving it that fluffy papa John's taste. Instead it's a weird mix between a new York style thin crust pizza and a papa Johns style pizza having a crispy undercarriage like a thin crust. Moral of the story is you can tell night and day difference when you get a pizza that's just had the dough stretched for your order vs them taking a pre-stretched dough that's been sitting on the stand by waiting for an order. Im honestly about to start driving to a farther location so I can get the consistency and taste that I expect when ordering a...
