What in the world? I ordered through Doordash. My wife ordered a quesadilla with everything that is included on the menu. I had to call the store because they didn't confirm the order only to find out that the owner takes the phone home at a certain time and that's what they run the doordash orders off of. Had to redo the order over the phone. Went to pick it up and the wife's quesadilla was just chicken and cheese. No Pico, no guacamole, no salad, etc. None of the stuff listed in the ingredients for the quesadilla on the menu. The cashier up front told us that they no longer put anything on the quesadilla and they wouldn't honor what the menu says. I thought it was because they were out of pico or guacamole but they literally put Pico and Guac on the nachos we ordered. They were just cutting costs on the quesadilla. But instead of giving me 50 cents worth of Pico, they told me to cancel the order and get a refund through doordash. So they gave me the food and then lost out on a $40 order and a customer... what sense does this make? The cashier told us that multiple people have called and complained about the same issue. We asked her if they would go online and fix the issue with the menu to avoid these problems? She said no. Lol. What in the world is this business? Food was already very very average Tex Mex style food. At least try and do good by your customers. The owner is letting his employees cost him money. Wouldn't be surprised to see this...

Staff was very friendly gave us everything we asked for very attentive . We started with beers and shrimp ceviche with chips and salsa . Main dinner was the enchiladas beef and chicken and also soft taco beef and chicken . I enjoyed it very laidback relaxing atmosphere nothing fancy it’s totally blue collar working guys place. The food was hot freshly made great salsa . The only thing I would like to see them do is brand something on there menu and do it up big and ask every customer if they want to try it. I would love to see them do authentic menudo soup made fresh every day or really do the best fresh ceviche with fresh fish, shrimp, and scallops. They need something to give them the best in the bay factor to get people talking . Chicken cooked on flat top grill tossed on top of cheese filled corn tortillas is not really enchiladas to me . Like I said nothing that stands out just getting by with hungry guys after working all day . They have food and friendly service which is not a terrible thing just hope they kick it up a notch for them to stay in business for years . Just my honest opinion don’t come for me it’s...

Good and Extensive Menu that few places have in Tampa. Authentic Mexican food of good quality. Fresh ingredients. And Good Price. Place not very spacious but cozy. It is not a Restaurant where you are going to go sit and eat for 3 Hours. Buy what places like this are to eat and leave. People tend to stay (for people who tend to do that) It affects the flow of people. Good Service in General and the food comes out Fast. There was only one waitress that day but I am a waiter and I know what it entails and I put myself in her shoes and above all the load she did her best and gave good service. Please people. Don't give a Place fewer stars for stupid things. Sometimes analyze all the criteria well. This place is Better than most Place here in Tampa. Talking about Food...

Tastes like your mexican mother is cooking for you!Authentic food where the cooks actually come from Mexico ( Guerrero i believe) and make some dishes you only see in mexico like Huaraches and Morcajete. They make great salsas and fresh tortillas. Try their Agua Frescas they are just like grandma makes them delicious and fruity and Large. It has a great menu with soups and fun drinks too. I ate the molcajete ( food for 2 people but you will need to ask for more tortillas) very tasty dish that has different meats, a "chile torriado" spicy fried jalapeno, and cactus ( mild flavor like a cucumber, very traditional and tasty). This is as close as you can get to eating from mexico without the trip. It is a small casual eating spot. Child friendly. Speedy service. Go for a quick meal.

I’ve lived in a predominantly Hispanic area for several years and have supported many local businesses in the community. I’ve passed by this establishment countless times over the past 3–4 years and finally decided to give it a try after seeing the $1 Wednesday taco special. However, my first experience was incredibly disappointing. I called to place an order and asked a very simple question: “Do the tacos come with steak?” Instead of receiving an answer, the employee on the phone became noticeably frustrated and abruptly hung up on me mid-conversation. This was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. It was clear the employee had difficulty understanding me because I was speaking English, but instead of trying to communicate or find a solution, she chose to hang up on a potential first-time customer. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially when someone is calling to support your business. This experience left an extremely negative impression, and I would like to speak with a manager directly regarding how this situation was handled. I’ve attached a photo of the employee who hung up on me so this can be addressed properly.
