St. Pierre's Shoes — Local services in Taunton

I've lived in taunton for 6 years, literally live walking distance from here. Every single time I've walked in this store I have NEVER been greeted by ANY staff, nor have I been asked if I needed any help. All the while, watching other people come in after me get greeted and helped. Not sure if its a race thing. But my husband has noticed it too, and even when we visited recently (12/4/19) at around 2:30pm we walked in from of 3 staff members while they were unwrapping shoes and never got acknowledged while SOON as a middle aged lady walked in they walked to meet and greet her. My husband started to say something about it very loudly and I just insisted we leave. I will never give this store...

Fantastic shoe store with old-fashioned values. Great customer service and their knowledge knows no bounds. Their kindness and courtesy, even in this time of the pandemic, is a pleasant change from the norm at the big box stores, which is virtually zip. They definitely go the extra mile, and to them it's not extra- it's just what they do. They were fantastic with my 10 year old son who has some special needs, including sensory issues. Fitting a kid with sneakers who doesn't want to be wearing shoes in the first place- it was a tall order, but it didn't phase them a bit. We will definitely be going back, despite the distance from where we live...

I love the store.back in the day when the parents ran it ot was so nice.Noww... the employess(the kids and the middle aged lady there are very rude judgemental .they make u feel uncomfortable and like your a thief.And if they have an attitude that day and you ask for different sizes or styles.Oh that's all we have.And they proceed to stand there watching you and making you uncomfortable. To bad cause they have good inventory w an old school feel walking...
