IMPORTANT update to this review: The employee who served us was apparently not familiar with allergy and sensitivities protocol. She put regular milk instead of the requested oat milk into my daughter's drink. This made my daughter sick!
I'm giving three stars because the first time my daughter visited (on a Sunday a few weeks ago) there were two guys who were fabulous and gave her five star service and a properly made beverage. The vibe of the place is also awesome.
However today's visit stood in sharp contrast to the previous visit.
The girl who rang us up didn't even start making the drink until fifteen minutes later after I walked up and asked what was going on with it. She apologized and said that she had forgotten to make it. Then she left off the cinnamon and gave my daughter s drink that had a bit of an odd texture. Not thrilled about this visit. There was no reason for the long wait. The food I got was a cookie and some chips, and my daughter only...
Read moreMy wife and I regularly seek out new coffee places around southern New England. Was stoked to find an Identity spot moved into Taunton (they’re a small chain in New England).
This spot is MASSIVE. Not only is it a coffee / sandwich / ice cream shop, but it’s also an events space and community center. The decor and vibes are great. So much seating!

The iced lattes were also delicious, but had an awful lot of ice. For the price, I’d expect them to put a little more coffee in the cups and not fill to the top with ice. A small latte, large latte, and an espresso ran us $25 with a 15% tip.
Ultimately our coffee and experience was amazing, and...
Read moreHeard about this new “coffee shop” on Main Street in Taunton. Essentially this is a coffee outpost located in a new community center. The inside was beautiful and seems like a nice place to meet up with friends for a coffee. The coffee was decent very similar to an iced coffee you would get a a breakfast joint. As for tea, they have no freshly brewed ice tea just pure leaf. We decided not to try the breakfast although the menu looked good. After doing some research about the location identity coffee is small chain found in Western Mass and New Hampshire. The community center was started by some New Christian Community Church leaders from Easton. A cool concept the church undertones are a little iffy (my personal opinion), definitely worth a trip to see new improvements...
