When we arrived, they were slammed. The wait was an hour, so we sat at the bar to dine. Our server (the bartender) was excellent at her job and very prompt at serving us our drinks despite the busyness of the day (day after 4th of July). After we placed our food orders, their POS system went down, causing further delay. By the time we got our food, it had been an hour and a half, but we knew it was through no fault of theirs! We enjoyed several cocktails while we waited, and our server kept us updated. The food was worth the wait!! I had the French Onion soup to start, and oh my gosh- I don’t know what they put in those croutons, but they made the soup that much better! So good!! Then, I ate the Southern Cobb salad with Blackened Vinaigrette. I’d never heard of that dressing before, but my gosh, I wanted to drink it- it was that good!! At the very least, I wanted to buy a bottle of it! My husband had the Galley burger and said that was fine, but there weren’t enough fries. Cocktails I had and would absolutely order again: Pineapple Ginger Snap Flower Fusion

My husband and I dined here while on vacation a couple of weeks ago. We've been here before and absolutely loved it, although, we always just ordered an appetizer and drinks so I was excited to get an actual meal this time around. The brisket tacos we got as an appetizer we're amazing. Typically the appetizers we get always are. However, I ordered a French onion grilled cheese and they were out of the sourdough so I had to have it on a hoagie roll. They asked first and that was fine. But then when they brought my meal and I tasted the fries, they were clearly McDonald's fries. Like they came from McDonald's. If they would have said something to us about it instead of serving them to us without explanation I might have been more understanding. But I saw people at other tables with different fries and you can't mistake the taste of a McDonald's fry. So I was disappointed that they didn't have the bread and they didn't have fries either but their prices are pretty high to be serving you something that doesn't meet their standards.

Went in to this wonderfully decorated cozy location at the height of the dinner rush on the weekend, was 6th in line. Kitchen handled the rush very well and aside from the drinkers, staff kept the tables moving. Apps came out promptly and were very delicious! (Their fr. Onion soup is a wonderful spin on the old recipe and well worth it.)my entree, lamb meatloaf, was amazing, a well thought out and balanced dish but was somewhat shocked neither dish came with a salad or any type of bread or side choice!? My friends chix Alfredo was bland and the chicken was over seasoned, but they were very busy, mistakes Will happen assuming sauce is more than likely made to order. Based on these easily remedied issues I'd rate a solid 4-4.5

We went for a nice dinner which normally it would have been. The air was cranked up and they said couldn’t turn it down because it’s locked but found out the owner was there it was only 62 degrees outside and on Lake Huron 7:20pm so not needed anyways. People had sweatshirts and jackets on. We asked to move to another table where it wasn’t blowing on us. We had 2 nice staff members but the owner a larger lady with a big birth mark on her face, that’s how you know she was the owner, she was extremely loud. She was at the booth with 4 other servers and busser all laughing and telling stories but were loud. Then she went behind the bar and proceeded to hang out and continue her boisterous commentaries with the 4 patrons and 2 other staff people and it was so loud I wanted to leave and go somewhere else. So we asked our server if she would ask them to be more quiet so we could enjoy our time. We ordered out food and then the owner came over leaned on our table and said “I heard there’s a problem here”. I did not find this nice but confrontational. She was extremely rude so we explained how unprofessional it was and said just give us our bill for what we had and she said never mind leave. I was extremely upset by her aggressiveness and said we will leave because this is now where I would not spend time for our dinner. This is a nice place normally and we live in the next town over but the man sitting at the bar friends of hers apparently followed us out and proceeded to yell go back to Ohio!!!!! Seriously? Ohio? I don’t care if we came from Mars Mexico or even Russia. We were spending good money there since they want $28 for a perch dinner that I can get it in Rose City not far from there either for much less at Faull Inn and have a much better meal. She was rude and confrontational and didn’t care if we were from out of town or regulars. Apparently only Her Fun Time mattered not patrons. We will never step foot in there and already told our friends since we all live in West Branch and not from out of town since that’s what they thought. If you are not HER FRIENDS you are not welcomed there or cared about. If you want a decent meal and a better price and views of Lake Huron go to the hotel by the city park in East Tawas at the Pier and enjoy a better time. Oh and better price and better people. Your besties...

We were seated quickly and everyone was very pleasant. The restaurant is airy with great views of Lake Huron. The menu features burgers, sandwiches, apps, a few entrees and dessert. We wanted an actual meal but there were only a handful of choices ranging from a heavy steak and potatoes option to a vegetarian falafel option. The fish options were sockeye salmon which we don’t care for and walleye, which else had had the night before. My husband opted for the falafel and I ordered the sesame salad. At first I didn’t order the added chicken but then changed my mind and I’m glad I did. My husband’s falafel consisted of maybe six tiny meatball-like falafels. They were much smaller than he expected. It was on a huge bed of rice with asparagus and a few other veggies. It was supposed to be served with tahini sauce but if there was any we couldn’t find it. Overall the dish was mostly rice, the falafel, while flavorful, was tiny and dry. The dish consisted of mostly sticky rice. I ordered the sesame salad which was supposed to have mango, red onion, and pickled carrots along with romaine. The salad was mostly romaine. The mango was diced in miniscule pieces, literally a centimeter square or less. There was maybe a tablespoon of diced mango in the entire salad. The carrots were the matchstick ones you buy in the bag at the grocery store and there were very few of those. It was also supposed to be topped with crispy Chinese noodles but they were barely noticeable. They were stingy with the dressing as well. The highlight were the two crab Rangoon’s that came with it. They were hot and crispy and delicious. The grilled chicken I added was fine, tender but not particularly flavorful. But without the chicken and the Rangoon’s, this salad would have been a one star. Service was fine, wine was fine....

We went there today. We got there at 4 o’clock. there were only two other tables in the restaurant when we got there. There was six adults and two children in our party. three of us showed up first and we had to wait 10 minutes for the other half of our party to come. We never got any drinks while we were waiting for our party showed up, it took quite a while before someone came and gave us drinks. we ordered appetizers the calamari very small portions where to order two for the table. And we had to get up and ask for silverware. We ordered our food the waitress forgot to take the order for one person. I had to go get her. when the food finally came proximately 45 minutes later it was very uneventful. The hamburgers were over salted . They forgot to put bacon on one. The southwest Caesar salad was nothing I would ever order again. my husband ordered chicken wings with mango. We thought it was mango sauce but they just sliced mango and put it over the top of four chicken wings and charge $14. This was not our first time coming here we had been here one other time and everything was very good. That’s why we wanted to come back and celebrate my granddaughter 17th birthday .This time everything was terrible. It was a very disappointing meal that cost over $160. Will not...
