Harmons on 54th and Redwood Road. So I decided to transfer pharmacies to get one closer to home. I proceeded to have everything transferred because I have terminal cancer and they have a huge sign in front of the pharmacy that stated you would receive a $25 foodie club credit on the prescriptions that were covered. So I had to do the leg work while receiving chemo. A lot of work but I figured it would be easier for my wife when I pass. The general attitude from the pharmacists is very none caring. So they were ring up my meds and I mentioned that I had meds transferred to receive the $25 credit. She claimed to never heard of it. So I pointed to the sign in front of the pharmacy. She called someone else over and he stated that since I was on Medicare they couldn't give me the credit for transfers? On Medicare I still pay a monthly part D premium that still doesn't cover my costs. Medicare discrimination? They accept Express Scrips which is on their sign and was one that I transferred there. Been going to this Hamons for 40 years. Now I get to transfer them all again. I have other stories but I'm sure that wouldn't help. Good...
Read moreThis pharmacy is awful and a bunch of liars. They told me I would have my prescription ready the next morning because they had to order it in. I called the next AFTERNOON and I was told they didn't even know if they could get it in at all to their pharmacy and they had no note that they had even talked to anyone the previous day about trying to order it in. I was put on hold for a long time, with the employee returning on the phone saying, "I will have to call you later to let you know if we can even get it." So here I am waiting for my prescription that is necessary with no expectation on whether or not it is going to even be ordered. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not really sure why they would say they would have it the next morning when they didn't order it or even put any effort into looking on whether they could get it in at all. They obviously don't care if people receive their medication or not. Completely and...
Read moreI normally have such a good experience here, so i’m shocked I’m even writing this. This morning I came in to receive a new prescription, and when I approached the counter and gave my info, the pharmacist not only SCREAMED the name of my prescription, but proceeded to tell me why they couldn’t fill it because they aren’t filling stimulants. It was so loud that all the techs stopped what they were doing and looked at him as well. So embarrassing. Not only was this humiliating, but I feel my medical privacy was violated with how loud this man spoke to me and how there was little care in my respect and privacy. I know for a fact Pharmacists and their techs should be trained on how to be respectful and i’m disappointed that my medical information was expressed so carelessly. I feel...
