Ulta Beauty — Local services in Taylorsville

Im convinced the people who left negative reviews of this location were the issue with their visit.. today was my first visit at the taylorsville location and this will now be my primary location even though im located closer to Jordan landing! Genesis, is an absolute angel! She was so sweet and attentive and gave me tips about oily skin and what works for her, she even offered to open the door for me to get my stroller through the door!! The location was so clean and the layout was beautiful. I had an amazing interaction with the cashier as well (I didn’t get his name unfortunately, but he was too so sweet😭!) every time I come in I will be looking forward to seeing genesis, absolutely loved her!! This means so much to me as a former Ulta Beauty employee. Their customer service and attentiveness is so important and appreciated for make up retail! This was my first time shopping at this location, I typically go to a nearby one. I had such a pleasant experience! I interacted with three employees during my visit and each one was very friendly; Aileene, the manager (I didn’t get her name), and Faith. Aileene was incredibly friendly and fun to engage with; interacting with her felt like hanging out with a friend! Faith answered all my makeup questions and was patient. The manager was funny and answered questions, she helped the employees answer questions promptly, and helped find a product that was out on the shelf. I will definitely return to...

HORRIBLE! 2nd time in here and it’s probably the worst ulta I’ve ever been too. It’s just convenient but I will gladly drive outta my way now…. The lady’s don’t even help you. You have to ask for help when there’s NO ONE I there. Also when I asked for help she tried sell me a pencil eye liner when I asked her for the display eyeliner that’s liquid. She had no idea what she was talking about… I asked her to open it and boom it’s the wrong one. This store needs an entirely new staff even the check out people are incompetent.
