Don't waste your time or money. This is nothing more than a poor mans Betos. It was just a ton of little things that added up to be a major issue. My son and I both ordered the pork El Pastor burrito, left much to be desired. It was a little dry. They serve it with a tiny 2oz portion cup of a terrible tasting salsa that was way too sweet. I also ordered a side of macaroni salad. I was so disappointed. This was just regular store bought salad, like what you get in those containers at your local grocery store deli. I was hoping for a nice homemade macaroni salad. It was cheap tasting food. Your food is only going to be as good as the ingredients used to make it. It's like they bought the cheapest of everything to run the restaurant. Another problem is they have absolutely no condiments out anywhere. No Tapatio, no Tabasco, no Cholula. Not even a single bottle of ketchup to be found. My son ordered a side of fries, they were under cooked. When I went up to the counter to ask for some ketchup the man seemed put out, really? Someone is just supposed to eat a plain plate of fries with no dipping sauce, c'mon. Also, there is no soda machine in the dining area like there is at 95% of restaurants. If you want a refill you once again have to go up to the counter and ask for it. Oh, and it's a dollar for a refill on the soda, really??? I spent 30 dollars on lunch for two people and you can't at least give me a refill. There is one single garbage can in the dining room that has a lid on it that you have to physically lift with your bare hands to throw your trash away. At least have the type of can where you step on the pedal to raise the lid. That way the customer doesn't have to touch the gross garbage can. Not worth the time or money. Sorry guys but you dropped the ball...
Read moreWaited over 45 minutes for my order. People came and went, with stay and take out orders. I was trying to be patient and not preassure the cashier but when I finally asked how much longer she handed me my food that had been sitting there for who knows how long. Took the bag, and once in my car I opened it to check everything was there. Ordered combo #5... to my surprise one of the chicken boxes was burned, not crispy,it was charred burn. Took it back, they did not even want to look at it and said all they can do is give me a half a chicken as a courtesy. I insisted they look at what they gave and and refused saying it didn't matter and half a chicken is all i get no matter the circumstances because i took it out of the store to check it. I had no choice but to check my order in my car because all the tables were taken. Totally unfair situation that could had been handled differently if they had staff who cares about customer service. update to manager response I appreciate your response. I'm happy to give you another try and pay for my meal. But the fact that you offered to comp my meal is appreciated. Just train your two young girls up front. I visited yesterday around 11:30 am. And speaking to other friends who love your food they had a similar incident with the same girls a few...

To me it looks like a local Mexican guy went to el pollo loco and thought he could do better. He succeeded on every level, and I love el pollo loco. The entrees taste better, the chicken and the salsa taste better and more fresh. More salsa, they give you six tortillas instead of 2. They give you much more food. They serve a grilled jalapeño and grilled onions (taste amazing) like they do at good taco stands. I have a new...
