Morgan Estate — Local services in Temecula

For some reason, I can't find this venue on TheKnot or WeddingWire anymore. I was hoping to write a review for the sites. The venue is fairly new, just opened for 7 years now. I think there's still a lot that can be improved. I did not hire a wedding planner so I did EVERYTHING myself!

GREAT THINGS: VIEWS ARE BREATH-TAKING at every single angle! Day-Of coordination was great and smooth. I didn't have to worry about anything going on that day with vendors arriving and setting up. It was nice to have additional coordinators of the venue help with set up and throughout the day. Dinner was delicious through the venue's partnered vendor. They provided complimentary Champagne and water for the bridal suite and also post ceremony. It was super generous and kind! Definitely felt fancy and taken cared of. It was nice to have Tiffany and coordinator check in occasionally throughout the day.

NEEDS IMPROVEMENT: First, ways of communication via phone and email is poorly handled. I believe Tiffany is the only one responding and given the amount of weddings, it take over a week to 2 weeks to get any response back. I've had to contact multiple times to remind and almost bug her for updates. I don't know if any other wedding planners have issues or maybe it was just me. This was something I was not fond of throughout the whole process. Just waiting for a response and having to bug for updates for the last year. It would be nice to have more individuals manage caseloads as needed and respond accordingly. I wondered if it was because since I didn't have a wedding planner, maybe, they didn't bother to prioritize me. But it's just my personal thought and feeling. We were money deep in the contract already so I just decided to be patient and be positive with the process. Or Maybe I was just being too nice!

End of the night: It felt kind of messy, rushed, and scrambled cleaning up and getting out of the venue by 11pm. I packaged all my wedding items neatly in boxes and organized + LABELED for set up. By the time I received my items, everything was all mixed up and just thrown into random boxes. Some of my items were fragile glass, and it just was in a box without the bubble wrapping and styrofoam wrap I had brought it in. My top tier cake was crushed because they couldn't find the box it came with - so it was put in a aluminum tray with plastic wrap. By the end of the night, I felt like some of the coordinators and Tiffany were maybe getting irritated and frustrated with cleaning. I just felt a negative vibe but decided to still enjoy my wedding night.

I recently found this wedding venue in an article about "hidden gems" in SoCal and just had to see it in person. I am a wedding photographer and was surprised I hadn't heard of it before! As soon as I stepped on the grounds and was greeted by Wally I was convinced that this was indeed a "hidden gem." The lawn overlooking the Temecula hills is simply GORGEOUS, it is the kind of view that makes you want to get married over and over again. The opposite view is of the Morgan Estate, and it is equally stunning. The grounds are very well kept, every turn feels like you have been transported to another time and place. It's full of old-timey Southern Charm. Everything from the bridal suite, ceremony space, the reception lawn and groom airstream are a photographer's (and couples) dream! I am also happy to say that the customer service is top notch, I was helped by both Tiffany and Wally and was treated with the upmost care. I'm thrilled to recommend this venue to my clients!!

I would recommend this wedding venue to anyone looking in the Temecula area. It was an absolute dream of a wedding venue and photos do not do it justice. The ceremony and reception areas are stunning overlooking the rolling hills and vineyards. The grounds are kept immaculate. All of the staff were very professional and so helpful the entire day, making the day run smoothly. They were extremely easy to work with from day one. We also used their preferred caterer which turned out great and was very delicious. But it was great to have the flexibility of bringing in other non preferred vendors as well. The bridal suite is spacious, air conditioned, and the perfect place to enjoy the morning getting ready. It definitely got windy during our ceremony and reception but that was the only con and not under anyone's control.
