We moved to the area year ago and my daughter wanted some knotless braids. A friend of mine referred me to Marvette because she said her daughter was tender headed and Marvette did a wonderful job with her. My daughter is 10 years old and she’s not tender headed, but she is particular about who does her braids. Marvette was so kind and patient with her and every time she goes to her she does a beautiful job. Not to mention my daughter’s hair is growing, looks healthy, and she has all of her edges while she’s been getting her hair braided with Marvette. Marvette has the best hours too. When you have a 10 year old, who has a lot of school age activities, it’s hard to fit in time to get her hair braided. However, Marvette offers appointments on Saturdays and Sundays and at times that really work for us, so missing a day of school or having my daughter have to leave school early to get her done is not a problem I’ve ever had to deal with! If she can take us early, she will always call or text to let us know so that we can plan accordingly. Her prices are fair and her skills are unmatched….so blessed to have found her! I booked an appointment and paid $25 deposit. The owner immediately sent me a text stating her child had a dental appointment and she would have to change my appointment time. When I requested my refund she quickly sent her policies about keeping the deposit. I understand there are policies in place to protect her business but she knew her son had an appointment and that time should have never been an option on her schedule.
