I broke my wisdom tooth and it needed to be extracted. They found every excuse as to why they couldn't do the extraction first. They told me. I need to get my Doctor to sign off. Because I was on a specific medication that requires for me to get confirmation from the Doctor who prescribed it that it's okay to do the extraction. I went about 3 different ways of getting them. The confirmation. They did not accept any of the ways. First they told me. I have to bring it in physically when I pointed out. There's a fax number on the form for the medical release. Then they told me their facts is broken and they can only print. They can't do anything else so I let them know OK. My son had an appointment at 3:00 PM. I arrive at 2:32 PM at this family health center it was our first time for dental I went to the window of dental, and it was 3 ladies talking, laughing and 1 of them was making an appointment for a person I signed my son at the bored to sign in at the time that I got there and I saw a lady. That she need a pen to sign in? I saw it was no pen there. I stand up because I was waiting for my son's turn and I gave the lady my pen. She signed in. I assume that when you get to your appointment early.and you sign in, they go by the list. I was waiting for they could call my son name to check him for my son appointment and they thought that I didn't talk. English, i saw them. They grab another list that they were starting when my son was in the number 24. The list that I saw there that it was no sticker with name. Left for appointment or to sign in.and I saw that a spanish lady, did not talk English. They just start laughing and then went okay, and she sign in the lady that I gave the pen for she could sign in. She was under the name of my son.The number 25 and she signed her name as she was an African American and all of them they was calling was african american, i did not saw that professional that they jumped the lady because I am Spanish and they thought I do not talk English and they was laughing and jumping people with a second list that I saw, they have in their hand. and not calling them by the list. I saw that and she noticed that I know what they was doing and I stand up and I let them know. That i was there early and I'm waiting. They call my son for they could check my son in for my son appointment. She i wasn't expecting. that I talk English. One of them wave at me because I was waiting for my turn and I was looking at them because I know what they was doing that and i got tire waiting, they did not call my son and I stand up and let them know what they are waiting for to call. My son for his appointment to check-in. As soon I stand up, I let them know and I communicate with them like 2 minutes. They call my son up to inside the dental Aria. I was not happy because I think they're supposed to treat everybody the same if they speak English or not. Thank God. I do speak English and I understand not because I look Spanish. They got confused and they wasn't expecting that I talk english those lady that work in the front desk, they're supposed to treat everybody the same. And that was my first time going to that facility, and I felt so incompatible. The staff inside was very good and they treat my son very well at that part. I was happy, but the front decks have to be professional. Not laughing joking, eating chips. The patient are waiting for their turn, and they've been jumping other patient because they think they cannot defend their, self and they do not understand. I was supposed to have an appointment with Dr. Patrina Sanders on April 2, 2024 at 3:45 PM I was asked to enter the telehealth room at 3:19 PM and she never showed up to the appointment however $30 was still charged on my FSA card which I would like for it to be refunded and they could have called me the day before like they called to confirm the appointment just to cancel the appointment also if they knew the doctor was not going to show it’s so unprofessional of Dr. Sanders to operate in this profession of Of mental health and the severity of need in the community and this is what she does to her patients she leave them high and dry and ignore them and she may even need to be evaluated for mental health issues because only an insane person would do such a thing such as leave their patient hanging around waiting for them to enter to have an appointment with them I would like a refund full refund of $30 for Colby and do not charge my insurance I will be calling my insurance to dispute the claim because there is no claim to file also Dr. Sanders and the behavior health staff included Sherry Rae Thomas included the Tommy agree they all need to have sensitivity training going forward.
